Texas Air & Space Museum - Amarillo (TX)

4 /5 Jerry Grosenick: The museum was decent. The gentleman who took outside to look at the planes and helicopter was excellent. Glad he showed and explained everything to us.

5 /5 Alex: Went there on a quick trip once we were passing through Amarillo, very happy I did! I met some lovely absolutely engaged volunteers that seemed excited to talk about everything they had. We were allowed to roam the inside on our own, then we were accompanied out onto the tarmac by Ron, the President of the place! Definitively a funny and informative man! Loved this entire visit!

5 /5 Katherina Kalman: Wonderful experience visiting. Obviously a labor of love running on the efforts of wonderful volunteers until they are able to obtain needed funding to move into a larger facility. Recommend -, for hands on experience of history of flight, an intimate view of Texans who contributed to flying and our Space exploration.....and remembering those who sacrificed their lives. Make sure not to miss the model room.

5 /5 Micaela Thomas: This museum is volunteer run and an absolute gem! Ron is very knowledgeable and generous with information. There are several indoor and outdoor exhibits, and I was excited to hear theyre planning to expand. Definitely worth the time if you have any interest in aviation!

5 /5 Philip Schielke: Great fun. Go on board a DC-3, NASA trainer, and a C7-A. Limited space for the exhibits makes it a little overwhelming. Lots to see! If you can’t figure out how to get in the sign in the street points to the door you enter. See pics.
