Gargi Vaidya: This place has a really pleasant vibe. The trail starts at the City of Bryan board on College Ave. It is narrow, but it is a very clear trail and there is no need to worry about getting lost, or off track. But feel free to explore! There is an opening where people walk their dogs or play around in the open. This place also has a small kids park with swings and slides. There is a dome structure which has an interesting echo acoustic. Overall great place to visit in the evening and hangout with your friends or your pet. It is just a walk or 5 mins drive away from North campus.

Trisha Singh: Santa’s wonderland is definitely a great holiday vibe and place to go with family. The lights are beautiful and the hayride is the best experience. However, unfortunately there were so many things that fell short of a good experience. First, the parking situation is pretty frustrating. We paid for one of the lots in advance but the lines waiting to park were extremely long. When we finally parked, we had a very long walk to the front of the park. Also, if it rains, be careful because it’s dirt and going to get very messy. The entire ordeal to park and even get into the park took over 30 minutes. Once we entered the park we wanted to get to the hayride line but that line was incredibly long. We did not purchase the VIP passes since we had 6 people and that would get very pricey for 6 VIP passes in addition to general admission. Once we finally got on the hayride it was a special experience. However, it took majority of the evening. After the hayride, we proceeded to get food. Half of our group wanted pizza and the other half Cajun food. We went to get pizza first, there was a long line but moving fast, but unfortunately the pizza was undercooked. Then we went to the cajun eatery and waited in a long line just to get to our turn and they had already ran out of almost everything at 7:00pm. Also, both eateries did not have many drinks left. Just seemed like poor planning for a Saturday evening, knowing it’s one of the busiest nights. Bathroom lines are excessively long. The park lost money because also wanted to get funnel cake and because the length of wait time we decided not to. The park is just way too crowded for a good experience. It did change the experience for us. I hope Santa’s Wonderland improves things to make it a better experience for their customers. Majority of people drive from far for this and pay a lot of money to be disappointed. No one wants to be disappointed during the holidays for something they planned and paid a lot of money for.

Nicole Ayers: We had a great time at Padlock Escape Games! I brought a school group, and the customer service leading up to the event was spectacular. They were quick to respond to all of my questions. We played adults vs boys vs girls, and the adults won! If I had to do it over again, I would have divided the teams more evenly;-)

david sonmyxay: I saw some boots that were left at a park, I was worried that a kid was abducted. Very nice park though. The scary part is that this kid was kind of crying while being taken to a car, but it didn’t look like they were being carried against their will or anything .
