5 /5 Yasha Hartberg: John Crompton Park is small, but beautiful, with a little something for everyone, a pond, playground, basketball courts, picnic areas, birds, trees, squirrels, rabbits, snakes—even the occasional foxes and alligators!
It also has just enough paths to get in decent walks and runs. In fact, I’ve lost hundreds of pounds walking around the part. True, every one of those pounds found their way back to my kitchen, some of them inviting their friends over. But I’m convinced that’s because I live just across the street. If I lived farther away, I’m sure I’d be skinny as a rail by now.
