1 /5 Rozmin Chandwani: Where should I begin? I typically refrain from leaving reviews for businesses because I believe that my unfortunate experiences shouldnt reflect on everyone elses. However, the staff and the nail technician were incredibly impolite and exhibited racism towards both me and my sister-in-law. We drove for 38 minutes to this establishment solely because they advertised a 20% discount. My advice is not to fall by this offer. They tell you its 20% off, but when you arrive, they overcharge you first and then apply the discount.
We were there for pedicures and a full set of nails. The ladies who performed the pedicures were pleasant and treated us kindly, but the girl who appeared to be the manager and a man who went by "men" were rude. Initially, the girl was doing my nails, but she left my hand to attend to another customer. The guy took over and was extremely rough, nearly causing me to bleed when he forcefully removed the nail extensions the lady had applied. When I told him it hurt, he responded, "Its supposed to hurt when we do our job." Later, he worked on my nails and saying my fingers were "crooked," not the nails. Ive been getting my nails done since 2009, and no one has ever told me I have crooked fingers. It seems they started to blame me because they couldnt perform their job properly. I will also share pictures to illustrate my experience.
Following all of this, my sister-in-law decided to double-check because she had doubts that the job wasn’t being done properly. when we checked my nails, we saw that half of them hadnt been properly dipped in the powder, the nail color had smeared all over my hand, the sides of my nails were messy, and my finger cuticles looked unclean. It was, without a doubt, the worst experience Ive ever had.
To make matters worse, when I informed the girl who appeared to be the manager about the guys behavior toward us, she began defending him. He even sat in front of us with an attitude , as if he didnt care at all. Im not one to typically leave reviews, but I dont want anyone else to go through the three hour worst experience like us. They completely wasted our time and money. When I initially raised the issue of his rudeness and poor work, she could have taken action at that moment, but instead, she waited until the last minute and said, "I see that, let me fix it." As if we had all day to spare.
