2 /5 B Lz: Medical staff were excellent, except for never replacing the leg device used to stimulate circulation to avoid blood clots. I asked several times, and they kept saying there were none available. If a patient needs them, they need to locate or go purchase more. However, the room was below sanitary expectations. As I neared the bed, the scent of urine wafted to my nose. I explained to the medical staff what I was smelling, and it wasnt coming from me. I immediately asked if they could change the bedding, which appeared to be some type of foam wedge with a thin sheet on top and a thin pad on top of the sheet. Easy 3 minute fix, right? Instead, they opened another set of 3 pads, scanned it in to charge my account, and placed one on top of the existing thin top pad. I was in too much pain to argue. I needed to lay down. Then, later, despite the strip saying the toilet had been sanitized, I see feces splatter on the rim - the part that does not have water touch it when flushed but faces inside the bowl. It was there when I arrived and when I left. I never had a bowel movement, so I know it was the prior patients, along with the urine deposits left in the bed. Yuck.
