South Lakes Park - Denton (TX)

5 /5 Farhan Rahman Arnob: Beautiful well organised park. Little bit smaller than North lake. But, it has more light on the trail track. Fountain increased it’s beauty. But, little bit looks flat and straight. Daily walking would be boring.

4 /5 Sumanth Reddy: Good park with couple of trails, and a small pond for people who are interested in fishing. Have a few picnic areas for relaxation and spending time. There is a party area and couple of barbecue grills, benches to enjoy the nature view. The trails are long and good for walking. It also has a children’s park with play area with in.

5 /5 Robin Creekmore: This park was a great find for our family. This park was very clean with very clean bathrooms. There was so much fun playground equipment for the kids to play on. There was a zipline, a huge climbing structure, plenty of space for soccer, a basketball court, a tennis or pickleball court, and so much more. The people we met were all friendly, and the day was a great fun time for all our kids. We hope to be in this area again and come back. The kids all slept on the way home from this fun place.

5 /5 plumandthistle: This is a lovely park. It has trails for walking, jogging, biking, etc., a playground, lots of benches, a few grills, bathrooms, and plenty of trash cans throughout. Theres a small dock with seating; theres always someone fishing. Its a great place to sit and watch the ducks and herons.

5 /5 Nathalie Dollar: This park is very popular! Sometimes it’s even hard to find parking. I love this park, and so does my partner. We walk here often. There’s a long trail and two ponds. Many people are seen here fishing, going on runs, rollerblading, and so much more. Get out there and get to livin’!
