Joeyws 35: Absolutely wonderful hiking and birdwatching. Great view of Heronry with nesting birds. Saw a huge aligator climb out of a pond and walk over a dike to another pond! Did a sunny 10K Step hike over only half of the park in about 2hrs. Best viewing of Purple Gallinule in all of Texas!

bridgette stott: This was our first visit to the museum. We traveled about an hour to Beaumont and it was well worth the drive. Our kids (3yo, 6yo) had a blast with each exhibit and are already asking to go back. With only a $6 admission price, well be back several times!

Kathryn Fuljenz: I just had my wedding here and the Botanical Gardens really worked hard to have everything ready to go when we needed it. The space was perfect for a large party or a small intimate gathering like we had! What a perfect kitchen for catering. And the gardens in bloom made for the best picture and atmosphere.

Bobbi Marie Heisley: There is no longer a wooden play area. Im going to assume that the storm took a toll on it and they changed it into this. This is pretty cool theres a lot of kids here. I was looking forward to playing on the wood. It looks like its a big maze. You dont see many wood playgrounds anymore. They need to come back. From the picturea, it definitely needed an update.

    Tyrrell Park - Beaumont
    Tyrrell Park
Prabin Kharel: I recently explored a spot very close to Tyrrell Park, and it turned out to be such an amazing experience! The area features a charming small botanical garden, a peaceful fountain, and a lovely pond tucked away at one end of the park. There’s even a golf course for those who enjoy a game in a scenic setting. What really stood out to me was the viewpoint at the far end of the park—you can spot alligators and a variety of bird species from there. It’s a great place for wildlife lovers and photographers alike. One of the best parts was the walking trail that loops around the swamp area, stretching about 3 to 4 miles. Walking through it, I had the rare chance to see alligators up close in their natural habitat. The whole vibe of the place is calm, exciting, and perfect for hanging out with friends or just enjoying nature on your own. Definitely recommend this hidden gem if you’re around the Tyrrell Park area!
