Kiddie Park - San Antonio
Kiddie Park
Google User: To the right of the zoos entrance. There are five rides to choose from. It being our first time here, we settled with getting the unlimited ride option. My daughter enjoyed it, so thats what matters most. No lines. Convenience of multiple food options (nearby gift shop with snacks, Starbucks, and hotdog stand that is on site). There is a spacious picnic area to the right of the gift shop. Its a slight bummer that the mini amusement park is in need of a major upgrade (long overdue).
The Grotto - San Antonio
The Grotto
Theresa Vodicka: I live the Grotto, its is a peacful place to go meditate. I always leave feeling refreshed..
San Pedro Creek Culture Park - San Antonio
San Pedro Creek Culture Park
Charlie Girl-915: I wanted to explore someplace different with my dog. Its a lovely creek, but I dont recommend going by yourself. Unfortunately, there is a high homeless population in the area. I was surprised to not see many walkers along the creek, but I did see homeless people, and they probably have mental illness, God Bless them. I would have enjoyed it more if I had someone else with me. I had to be on high alert and not able to enjoy the creek as much as I would have liked to.
The Amazing Mirror Maze - San Antonio
The Amazing Mirror Maze
Giselle De La Rosa: It was an awesome experience. Me and my husband went and enjoyed every single activity. The staff was amazing and super nice that helps a lot! We will definitely recommend the place to others
Natural Bridge Caverns - San Antonio
Natural Bridge Caverns
Matt Garcia: The caves were cool and the kids enjoyed it. But what we really loved was the Twisted Trails ropes course. This is a huge adventure course where you are safely secured to a harness and get to zip line and climb through different zones. They also had a maze for the little ones and other fun things to do after the cave tour. Check it out!

Casey Nicole: Absolutely phenomenal!!!!!! It amazes me how many people in San Antonio have not seen this. It reminded me a little bit of the immersive van Gogh experience. The music always went really well with the artistry. I wish I knew where the projectors were lol I couldnt find them anywhere! I got there about 20 minutes before the show started so I could get a front row seat. This is something that I would do every single time that I am in San Antonio. And its free! Its so awesome that the city has invested in this and continues to do this every night.
Aquatica San Antonio - San Antonio
Aquatica San Antonio
Desira Glenn: So much fun! This was the first of 3 stops on our Mothers Day adventure planned by our eldest daughter. This family of 10 outing that included 4 mothers, including my mother, provided laughs for everyone. The kids, and me too, enjoyed seeing Nana get knocked around by the waves in the wave pool. Funniest thing ever! But she had a blast! The slides, the lazy river, the sting ray experience, all awesome entertainment for the family.
San Antonio Aquarium - Leon Valley
San Antonio Aquarium
Michelle D: Our family visits a lot of zoos and aquariums. What we love about the San Antonio Aquarium is how interactive the exhibits are. There are dozens of opportunities to pet and feed the animals. We spent a long time at the big tank interacting with stingrays. Also, our 12 and 15 year olds enjoyed the lemur experience for a little extra money (4 tokens). Three generations on this visit, and we all had a great time.
Japanese Tea Garden - San Antonio
Japanese Tea Garden
Asim Kiani: Stepping into the Japanese Tea Garden felt like being transported from Texas to Japan in an instant. Every corner was breathtaking, with lush greenery, vibrant plants, and serene waters filled with lively fish that brought the scenery to life. Every turn revealed a new sight to admire, making it a dream for photos. The waterfall was mesmerizing, and the climb to higher grounds rewarded us with spectacular views. This place truly captured our hearts and souls—a peaceful retreat where visitors of all ages can find beauty and joy. Beyond its stunning landscapes, the garden was well-maintained, with clean bathrooms and plenty of parking, making the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit spot for anyone in San Antonio!

Yanaguana Garden at Hemisfair
Kaleigh Watson: What a wonderful way to spend family time. This public park has something to offer for children of all ages. There is a splash pad, large checkers, ping pong and chess available. There is also agility playgrounds and a place for younger children to play. Food is easily accessible for an all day trip. There is also wade pools with plenty of seating for parents to watch their children. Park is kept up beautifully as well.
