5 /5 Bruce and Ginger Beasley: I went to Odd Duck Barbershop for a beard and mustache trim in a unique situation. Eric Knight, the owner of his shop, was fabulous! The building was easy to find, and although there is construction on an adjoining lot, we were able to find parking. There is an elevator up to the second floor, and in, "Salons by JC McKinney," after you go into the main lobby, the suites are numbered well with big frosted barn doors designating each space. Eric was able to work with me on how much of my beard needed to be taken off, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. {Edit: After finding out Eric is very gifted as a barber, but also a musician, it seemed an affront to put a Creative in such a narrow box. It is always fun to see the gifts people have been blessed with to share with others, especially when they have the social skills he does. His workspace also shares his cool, outside the box vibe.} I have rarely let anyone cut my beard, but Eric immediately put me at ease with the questions he asked. We are older, but we are sure Eric can find a connection with anyone, regardless of age. We look forward to the next appointment for a haircut, and more conversation.
