5 /5 Tankita Mims: Thank you so much TC for giving my hair life. Definitely recommend anyone in the Killeen area to stop by this shop. Very cozy and welcoming environment. Not just TC ,her daughter and other workers were very welcoming. 10/10 I will be traveling back and forth from Houston.

5 /5 InfiniTy Financial: First I just want to say that the staff there is amazing! I had an emergency situation and I passed out in the chair. I was 5 months pregnant at the time and due to all of my running around and lack of eating and sleep that day, my body gave up. When I came to…everyone including the owner was there at my side and helped. They gave me water, electrolytes and everthing else to make sure I was good. I asked them not to call the EMS because I felt much better after being replenished. I am so grateful the owner was paying attention because I dozed off so quick not even realizing that I actually passed out. Ashley Mae was my hair stylist and I have to say she is bomb! Super sweet and she took her time with my long thick natural hair and braided it up perfectly for my lace frontal install. Did I mention she washed, conditioned & blow dried me too?! This is something I miss and you don’t experience often anymore. This was my first but definitely not last time coming to Raquels. 5 stars all around! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4 /5 Eileen E: I took my daughter to get her hair done. She loves her hair and the experience. Shes gone two or three times since she found this place. Doja does her hair. She got a detox, retwist, and a style. It didnt take too long, 2 1/2 to almost 3 hours.

5 /5 Alford Bonniejean (The Identity Guru): I have found my hair home. Yes, my hair needs a home. And it took moving to Killeen to find it. I needed my hair dyed and a braid, and I called them up. They could take me right then. While parking (especially for a mobility challenged gal like myself) was a bit downtown-like dicey, walking in the place made that one issue disappear. I walked in, and I was immediately welcomed. I felt right at home. It felt like the right place. Bry took care of me and did a fabulous job on my dye and braids. She educated me on how to keep my braids looking nice for more than just a could of days. And I knew it was the place I needed to take care of my hair. Note, it is a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. I am worth having my hair look nice. I am so thankful I found my hair home on my first adventure out into my new community.... this is something I have not been able to find before. It seems like a small thing, but really, it is huge. If you need some tender loving hair care, raquels is the place to go in Killeen area. And I am told they even do nails. How much better could it get?
