Stuart Leija: We needed an oil change for the truck, and weve also been looking for a good mechanic, and I saw Bradys had excellent review,s, so I called and they were able to get me in same day for an oil change. Mark from Bradys was very friendly and professional and offered free check up, and once completed, he fully explained the results. Most things were good, but some things probably need addressing and he showed the evidence and asked about previous maintenance from carfax. I never got the feeling like I was being upsold, just seemed like I was getting the facts. I couldnt get anything else done that day, but definitely plan on going back, hopefully will have more good reviews to leave in the future.

He said it would be around $8,000. I’m a woman so this happens to me all the time. Well, thank god I got the second opinion bc nothing was wrong with my transmission! I wish there was some way to protect us women from getting ripped off like this. It’s a shame.

Richard Sanchez: I had a terrible experience with Js Auto Shop and Mobile Mechanic that resulted in several more issues and a major safety hazard to my car. I strongly do not recommend their services. First, they removed my carburetor and installed one of their own, despite me explicitly telling them before they took my car that I did NOT want a new carburetor. This resulted in several issues as a result of disassembly, reassembly, and tampering. Second, they tampered with my electric choke and force-bypassed it with a zip tie, making it completely non-functional. The choke is broken now after removing the zip-tie. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Third, they lost my air filter housing gasket, did not advise me, and refused to replace it. Lastly, when installing a fuel shutoff valve, they cut my fuel line at an unnecessary spot and and reinstalled it incorrectly—the line is now barely holding onto the fuel filter barb, which is a major safety hazard. This kind of careless and negligent work is unacceptable. Instead of fixing my car, they introduced more problems, ignored my instructions, and compromised my vehicle’s safety. Avoid this shop at all costs!
