Js Auto Shop and Mobile Mechanic - Boerne (TX)

1 /5 Richard Sanchez: I had a terrible experience with Js Auto Shop and Mobile Mechanic that resulted in several more issues and a major safety hazard to my car. I strongly do not recommend their services. First, they removed my carburetor and installed one of their own, despite me explicitly telling them before they took my car that I did NOT want a new carburetor. This resulted in several issues as a result of disassembly, reassembly, and tampering. Second, they tampered with my electric choke and force-bypassed it with a zip tie, making it completely non-functional. The choke is broken now after removing the zip-tie. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Third, they lost my air filter housing gasket, did not advise me, and refused to replace it. Lastly, when installing a fuel shutoff valve, they cut my fuel line at an unnecessary spot and and reinstalled it incorrectly—the line is now barely holding onto the fuel filter barb, which is a major safety hazard. This kind of careless and negligent work is unacceptable. Instead of fixing my car, they introduced more problems, ignored my instructions, and compromised my vehicle’s safety. Avoid this shop at all costs!

5 /5 Tony Cisneros: Joe at J’s Auto Shop was amazing. He gave me a clean quote and stuck to it. Joe takes all the fluff, and the cost of the fluff, out of auto repair. I’ve been to all the shops around here, which are mostly franchises, and they are all overpriced and lacking in customer service. Joe made the process and easy. It’s hard to find a mechanic who isn’t trying to take your money… Joe is the honest mechanic and business owner we needed in the Boerne/Fair Oaks Area. I recommend this place all day and I’ll definitely be coming back.

5 /5 Jorge Infante: While making a delivery in Boerne, Texas, my cargo van broke down unexpectedly. I searched for a nearby mechanic and found J’s Auto Shop — and I’m so glad I did. Joe answered my call immediately and was at my location within the hour. He quickly diagnosed the issue, towed my van to his shop, and had it fully repaired by the next morning. The service was fast, professional, and truly outstanding. If you ever need reliable help in a pinch, I highly recommend Joe and his team!

Called, msg and setup appointments with 4-5 supposed to been "mobile mechanics" and no one ever called, msg back or respond to any of my attempts at communication. 1st time calling or msg Mr. Joe (cant remember which form of communication) he answered. Told him what the situation was with my 2006 Monte Carlo and due to state regulations i had to get it towed to the shop (which he offered tow) but due to a scheduling conflict i had to wait the next following week. Called when I said the next week and he was ready for me. Got the vehicle towed and he had it fixed at a price I think was a couple bucks maybe even hundreds less then I would have paid here in Boerne Period! Mr. Joe gets 10 stars because when my 2013 grand minivan broke down days later I contacted him right before his shop closed and he still contacted me even after his shop closed for the day. Got the vehicle towed to his shop and less then a few hours he had a quote ready. This man even came and picked up the payment as well as drove my vehicle back to me to make sure it was running properly because I didnt have a ride to retrieve it at the time the same day i may add. Not just that made a diagnosis of an existing problem I had with my van. That I must say was some top notch service specially after all the money I had to spend to get both cars fixed. Again Im sure anywhere else would have charged me ridiculously more and I would have had to find my own ride to wherever my vehicle went. I appreciate his wife too for her assistance as well. Will be contacting him for future work!!!

5 /5 Wesley Juett: I have found my mechanic! I called Joe at 5 PM, he came and looked at my vehicle the next day at 10:30 AM and had it fixed by 1:00PM that same day! Super happy with the work that was done, Joe is very friendly. Ill never use anyone else!
