Because of the extensive front suspension damage I wanted my car to be worked on by mechanics w/VW experience. I ultimately choose Premium Automotive Services because they are a locally owned & operated family business.
The following is a mixed list of experiences I had in the 71 days it took them to finish my car.
-I was told my car was ready for pickup & subsequently waited another 7 days bc they had failed to install a new AC condenser I notified them about multiple times.
-The hood doesn’t close correctly this wasn’t even taken in consideration.
-They wasted time rebuilding a front bumper support bracket that should’ve been replaced for $27 new. The bumper rebuild was done poorly and unprofessionally.
-The paint job on the front bumper has orange peel & overspray. The amount of gloss and/or clearcoat used was done incorrectly fresh paint is dull compared to factory.
-There are pieces missing from the honeycomb design that are broken off & large chips are missing from various sections from the front lip.
-Failed to install a front lip spoiler.
-I specifically informed them to be sure to repair the fog lights wiring connectors. I had to fix them myself but I am having to order a new light harness and will have to pull the bumper off again.
-The fog lights have white overspray on them.
-If your call isn’t answered at the location you dialed, it’s transferred to another Premium Automotive location who have no information on your vehicle.
I want to be fair so I will talk about the what they did right.
-There was a lot of damage that could’ve effected the alignment & smoothness of the ride & none of that is present.
-The car drives really great & they detailed the interior and washed exterior body & wheels.
Whats disappointing that I attempted to communicate, multiple times using various methods & ended up in this nightmare because of lack of communication seems unacceptable to me. If I had read this review I wouldve gone elsewhere. Not having my vehicle for 10 weeks impacted me financially & all the misguided information that was being relayed made it impossible for me setup a plan of action to support myself better. I’m glad it’s over, I’m grateful to god they were able to get it done.
