Nicole Sicking: This church has meant the world to me and my family. They are more than just a church. They have become family. They will be there when you ask to help move, fix things, and their heart is of gold. They will be there with a meal to help get through a difficult time. They will stop what they are doing and pray with you and over you right then and there and not just saying they will. They are more than just the building. They will point you back to what the Bible says. Great theological discussions not only in class, and sermons, but also in small groups. Come check it out and get involved. I love that we go line by line in the Bible during service and pastor is not afraid to discuss difficult issues. The worship music is spot on and gets your heart right for the sermon. Come as you are.

Kaitlynn Gray: We love this church . They make you feel like you are home . They have a nursery and daycare center for the people coming to church . They also have a code for your child so safety is important to them. Very welcoming . They have handicap parking spots . A playground for the kiddos.

Randy Jones: Excellent church with friendly members. Will never feel judged or put on the spot. Worship team is great, and Pastor Green is an amazing preacher.
St. Mary Catholic Church - Gainesville
Suzelle Sulak: Loved visiting. Lovely church and beautiful mass. Only thing I’d say is that their music choices leave much to be desired as they contradict the beauty and orthodoxy of the church by coming from the 70-90s. But maybe that’s just the specific congregation that prefers that kind of music (Hogan / Hass music).
    Valley Creek Church - Gainesville
    Valley Creek Church
S Beth (Lizzie): I LOVE Valley Creek Church! We have been going here since 2002! We have seen many changes here but we still love the teachings and atmosphere. We loved Pastor Kevin back in the day and we also love Pastor John! The teachings here are biblical and very practical. There is always more to learn and hear! We have been to all the different campuses but currently, we call VCC Gainesville home. We love the small town feeling there and just the love and kindness is felt and seen all around us.

St Pauls Episcopal Church - Gainesville

Hilary Cable: It has an historical landmark placard, but has been chewed up pretty badly by careless AC installation and additions to the building over the years. Its in need of a thorough restoration that is probably impossible financially. Interesting quirk: has two narthexes, originally one for women, one for men, according to our tour guide. That seems unlikely as Christians dont separate men and women in the pews. Why would they come in separate doors only to have to find their families and proceed to the pew together? But, worth stopping when in historic Gainesville.
