1 /5 My Review: Excellent praise and worship! But there’s unparented children running around the sanctuary and stage during the service. The haughty man on vocals unspanked animal hits strangers in the face with things like nerf ammo and random objects. The sermons are very lazy, short shallow sermons, often filling time repeating the same statement unnecessarily. Being 15-20 minutes wouldn’t be as bad if it was nutritious; all ages need more in depth teaching than this and definitely more than 15-20 minutes a week.
The pastor and youth pastor are disingenuous, obsessed with using drugs like alcohol and openly judge people inaccurately. Alcohol consumption is incorporated into their Bible studies. They refer to men as bub, bud, bro instead of being respectful. They’re accustomed to deceiving weak people and not being held accountable. See through their facade and they’ll despise you, definitely unwelcoming. They’re wolves, especially the lead pastor, certainly not above reproach. Baby Christians at best.
There’s some authentic people here which is rare in churches now but it looks like not many are discerning and not many have basic courage to speak truth with the tolerance of the two compromised pastors. It’s incredibly disheartening. You’re not going to have perfect leaders but it’s imperative to do better than this level of open compromise!! Unless you want to end up with a good ol boy toxic bubba church which is what you’re rapidly approaching.
I hope and pray for eye opening prophetic discernment, wisdom, courage to speak truth and proper guidance for this flock for healthy, maturing growth and refinement, to prevent complacency, compromise and spiritual malnutrition for all adults and children who attend.
