5 /5 Delia P: During the difficult days of the COVID-19 pandemic, my family and I sought comfort and connection within the walls of this very church. Sadly, our experience during that time left us feeling disheartened. As safety protocols were implemented, those who did not wear masks were directed to sit in a separate section of the church. Though the intention may have been rooted in care, the result was deeply sorrowful—fear seemed to overshadow faith, and the sense of unity we longed for felt broken.
But what a difference a few years—and a shepherd—can make.
In October 2024, we returned to the parish and were blessed to experience the incredible transformation that has taken place under the leadership of Father Bass, our new young priest. Words cannot fully capture the beauty of the Mass or the spirit of the environment he has helped create. His deep faith, humble heart, and joyful presence have truly revitalized this parish.
The community now reflects exactly what the Church is meant to be: welcoming, compassionate, prayerful, and alive with the love of Christ. Every Mass is filled with reverence, peace, and a genuine sense of Gods presence. I feel embraced—not only by the parishioners, who are among the kindest and most welcoming people I’ve encountered, but by the Holy Spirit itself. It is clear that the warmth of this parish flows from the heart of its leader.
I am so thankful to be part of a church that not only nourishes my faith but also draws me deeper into a relationship with God and our Blessed Mother. The diversity of this community is also a beautiful testament to the universal Church. It is a glimpse into what Heaven must look like—people of all backgrounds, united in one faith, praising God together.
To anyone who has been away, or who is seeking a spiritual home, I encourage you to come and experience what we now have. This parish has become a sanctuary of peace, faith, and renewal. Let us continue to grow together—in faith, in fellowship, and in lo
