Kendall Evans if you are LQBTQIA+, a woman, autistic/special needs, or a human with basic empathy this is not the church for you. I haven’t attended this church since 1997 (against my will) and the atrocities I have witnessed time and time again for the last 30 years are disgusting and not representative of christ. They idolize individuals who have mocked me to my face, a very prominent pastor told me that my suicide attempt was selfish (whilst laughing), I have had to attend 5 years of severe trauma therapy just to be able to live some semblance of a normal life after being around this church my entire life. Beware though, they will all be extremely nice and welcoming at first. “Wolves in sheep’s clothing” is the best way to describe the leadership. Actively do not support lgbtqia individuals as well which is honestly just vile at this point. I have been speaking to numerous individuals and we are in talks of creating a documentary regarding mega churches in north texas and this will be one of the first covered.

Dan C Not impressed with this church or its finances. You can find some information publically online or request it if you donate. High pay for the preachers and not much to charity. You decide for yourself if its worth contributing to this wannabe mega church.

This Church is simple, however it is incredibly beautiful. The music! The Gathering House was amazing to work with, and we love the voices in their group, especially for weddings. Thank you St. Jude for allowing us to get married in the presence of our Lord, and for your support.

Jon Soriano If youre looking to belong to a community, this is definitely one of the friendliest and welcoming church congregations that Ive visited. Most members are a part of a LifeGroup and seem to be connected and have built long lasting friendships. The only caveat is that the messaging can be a little difficult to understand for newcomers, particularly if you dont have a background with extensive knowledge of the Bible. That said, I wouldnt want to discourage anyone from attending because your experience may be different. We did enjoy our time there when we first moved to Allen, and we appreciate how we were welcomed.

Kitrina Johnson I’m so proud of what I see God is doing in the life of Pastor Tim and Latonya! This church is exciting, dynamic and booming with life and anticipation! From the moment you enter the church you can just feel it, something big is about to happen! Then you enter the worship and as the praise team sings and the word of Jesus comes forth, it’s a wonder! Your soul feels it all! I enjoy my time at Lyfe Church.

Sharon Mburu I highly recommend this church for its strong and supportive community. The pastor and his wife make an effort to personally know everyone in the congregation, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Services are scheduled from 10:30 am to noon, and refreshments are always provided. Guests will find the environment inclusive and won’t feel left out. Additionally, the outreach events are excellent, offering both a chance to help the less fortunate and to connect with other church members.

Benny Benson I really liked the Sunday services when I used to go here (but the temperature was extremely cold so we wore winter clothes every week). The main problem was the youth ministry, I left because of one of the “leaders” who publicly embarrassed me. He asked if anyone had an example of Christian’s dying for their faith excluding events in the Bible. I raised my hand and mentioned an event I had heard about at a Christian summer camp they summer prior. He said, and I quote exactly, “that’s stupid, that didn’t happen. It was probably something you dreamed and thought happened”. Dude, you don’t know everything, if you haven’t heard of an event just say that, I don’t claim to know about every martyr ever, you shouldn’t either. And especially don’t do it in a way that embarrassed a, then 14 year old in front of the entire guys youth group. Our family hasn’t been back since and now goes to Grace church on the other side of Allen which we love, their youth group is much better.

Delia P During the difficult days of the COVID-19 pandemic, my family and I sought comfort and connection within the walls of this very church. Sadly, our experience during that time left us feeling disheartened. As safety protocols were implemented, those who did not wear masks were directed to sit in a separate section of the church. Though the intention may have been rooted in care, the result was deeply sorrowful—fear seemed to overshadow faith, and the sense of unity we longed for felt broken. But what a difference a few years—and a shepherd—can make. In October 2024, we returned to the parish and were blessed to experience the incredible transformation that has taken place under the leadership of Father Bass, our new young priest. Words cannot fully capture the beauty of the Mass or the spirit of the environment he has helped create. His deep faith, humble heart, and joyful presence have truly revitalized this parish. The community now reflects exactly what the Church is meant to be: welcoming, compassionate, prayerful, and alive with the love of Christ. Every Mass is filled with reverence, peace, and a genuine sense of Gods presence. I feel embraced—not only by the parishioners, who are among the kindest and most welcoming people I’ve encountered, but by the Holy Spirit itself. It is clear that the warmth of this parish flows from the heart of its leader. I am so thankful to be part of a church that not only nourishes my faith but also draws me deeper into a relationship with God and our Blessed Mother. The diversity of this community is also a beautiful testament to the universal Church. It is a glimpse into what Heaven must look like—people of all backgrounds, united in one faith, praising God together. To anyone who has been away, or who is seeking a spiritual home, I encourage you to come and experience what we now have. This parish has become a sanctuary of peace, faith, and renewal. Let us continue to grow together—in faith, in fellowship, and in lo
