Ramo Namzug: I have to agree with recent visitors about the attention one receives when attending this Hospital. Unless your having a stoke, heart related, or bleeding out. The care is very slow in process. The times I’ve brought my parents, the care and attention to what a patient may be going through is horrible. If you attend this facility for care, expect to spend the day there. We arrived at around 11am and and waited for CT Scan results after 5pm. No updates or explanation as to process of what the plan of action is to be expecting. I highly recommend Urgent Care services that provide less waiting results and plan of action. I pay attention to details and observation is key to my reviews, . Another observation was the lack of antibacterial wipe downs to the chairs needed after dismissing an emergency patient for protection of any kind of contamination. Notice the clock on wall, was still waiting. Only the next shift nurses (Evening) wiped down all the chairs and I formed us they were the nurses taking over and followed up with us. This world, some do and most dont practice a positive creed.

Elisa Sierra: My mother was admitted for pain control and possible transverse myelitis. During her stay they discovered 4 fractured vertebrae. They attempted a fast improper discharge. At which point an appeal with Acentra Health who run compliance for Medicare. She was threatened by two different staff members on Saturday that they would not help her or provide her care anymore since they printed out the paperwork. The ā€œcase managerā€ threatened that she would be fully responsible for the bill in the event that appeal is denied which again is a lie. Then today I had to rush over to the hospital because the nurse was again pushing discharge prior to the appeal decision scaring my mom. I informed the nurse Sarys that discharge was not to be discussed until the appeal discussion was made and she pulled attitude and told me she hoped my day got better. Really? Your staff is literally violating CMS guidelines and this is the response? Do better.

Edward Solomon: Staff was excellent. We arrived on time, processed promptly and entered waiting area. One and one half hours later, was informed that the surgery was running behind. I asked if would be another hour, then two hours, then three hours and……five hours! Absolutely nuts. Asked why they didn’t call us at home, 35 minutes drive from hospital and received no answer. My wife went home and I remained on a gurney for three more hours. Finally taken in to surgery some 6 hours later! Thankfully procedure went well. Sent to a private room several hours later, staff very nice. Next morning waited until 10:00 for breakfast that was not ordered. Next interviewed by all appropriate staff and waited two hours to get hospital doctors orders to leave, finally my nurse helped me dress, remove IV and took me downstairs to process out. Finally left at 12:30.

Patsy Cazares: Today I went to the radiology department and I was very pleased with their service. I had some x-rays done and the young lady by the name of Zaria was my attendant, what an amazing young lady she was very attentive and very patient. The entire staff was amazing and I know where they get it from, this evening. I received a phone call from their supervisor Ms Maria And I understand now why the staff is the way they are, they have an awesome leader, totally pleased. With the service and with the staff

Andrea Caldera: Delivered my baby girl on Jan 6, 25 and I had the best delivery experience. The nurses were fantastic, very knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. Labor and delivery, and post care was relaxing , the room was beautiful overlooking the mountains. Would totally recommend delivering at Providence Transmountain. I live off Hunter, but the drive there and back was what I needed to mentally prepare my thoughts.

Clarissa Hernandez: I wish I could give this place more stars. Unfortunately, I cannot. Our experience was more than awful. We were treated very poorly. Everyone was very rude. Everyone acted like we were nonexistent. I won’t lie. I did have a nurse who was very kind when she was putting the IV on my daughter. I got here to the hospital around 2:30 and I have been sitting here in the hallway because they are no rooms and it is now 8 PM. The doctors are not the kindest either… Literally the worst hospital I’ve been in El Paso and I have lived here my whole life. I brought my two-year-old in and it has been the worst Experience… Please, if there is any Mom ā€˜s and Dad’s out there, do not bring your child here. Also it was disgustingly dirty. I’m so disappointed. Disgusted

Tessie Baez: After a couple month of recovery. It will be a year in March. I have decided to review this place because it ruins my view on Scenic Drive. This place frankly discusses me. I was transferred from East Providence to Kindred to proceed with rehab this place is a joke. I was never given rehab until the moment I requested a transfer out. Dr Aloraby was careless and the biggest jokester as I couldn’t move and he thought a fits pump was the proper way to say hi to me. initially, when transferred I was left in the room for over hours before anyone attended to my needs. That same night I immediately came down with a UTI after the catheter was removed and replaced with a pure wick. I was told it would take over 24 hours to receive anything. Just left in the room with the door closed running a fever all night. Next morning nothing until 11ish. And that is only because I had to start whistle for attention and at this point staff found it hilarious because they thought I was a bird. At the same time it hurts me to leave a bad review because I can remember 3 top RN and maybe like 4 good MA’s. However since they wouldn’t ever keep a steady rotation it’s hard to recognize those individuals! Some people have no busy in the healthcare system sadly to say!!!! This place will only treat you okay with eyes over them like a hawk. If you’re a sole independent person with no one to care or watch over you. I would say RUN LOOK else where! And if you do happen to leave your loved one! I would definitely not recommend this place unsupervised. Also hate’d how all day I was alone until I started getting visitors they would come in every minute or so like if they were taking care of my visitors.

Gary Palmer: Was admitted Providence Specialty Campus on November 11, 2024 for a prostate procedure … I received not just good care, but outstanding care … I want mention my treasured care givers including my urologist surgeon Doctor Jeffery Spiers, the most positive man I have ever met. Alejandra, Lily, and Dolly all the deserve recognition for their kindness, sympathy and professional care, they were there for me this 77-year-old man, many thanks from Gary C Palmer (Aug. 1, 1947) they made my hospital stay so comfortable and low stress… if a hospital stay is in my future it will be at Hospital of Providence Specialty Campus.

Alan Cohan: I dont like to leave bad reviews as I work for a Dr. Office as well. However, I felt as if everyone should be aware of the risks seeing this office. I went in for an annual physical and brought up a concern about my spine, which can 100% be billed under the yearly well visit. My insurance was billed for a physical and office visit 99214 (high to moderate complexity visit). Despite disagreeing with this, I paid it and went to go get my yearly bloodwork. My yearly bloodwork was incorrectly billed for preventative care according to my insurance. When I called the insurance they mentioned that if they had simply billed certain test codes differently it would have been covered. One example was sending "insulin" to be tested for as opposed to the correct corresponding code. I was nice and polite to the office asking them to resubmit the codes to quest, but clearly that did not work as it was billed the same, resulting in the whole blood pannel being charged towards my yearly deductible. They do not view you as a fellow human, rather as a money plant that they only have to water once (before the first office visit). Ive had my yearly checkups done at other offices and NEVER had to pay anything out of pocket as they were billed correctly and I have a good insurance plan that covers yearly preventative bloodwork. Everyone should steer clear of this office. I only switched because it was near to me - huge mistake. The owner will reply with the same response theyve used for all the other bad reviews - clearly they do not care about how they patients are being treated. If you have any doubts, read the other 1 star reviews given for the exact same reasons. I also was forced to schedule a follow up visit before leaving, which I politely declined. I was told that it was mandatory for checkout - whatever, I called to cancel it the next day. Then a few weeks later I get a voicemail to confirm my appointment for a follow up which I did not set up - so I called to cancel it again. Money hungry scammers? Incompetent staff/billers? Perhaps a combination of both? I recommend you dont try and find out for yourself.

Maria Martha Carrillo: We were seen and treated by L. Torres, a PA. He was friendly and professional, answering any of our questions and putting us at ease. My kids don’t really being in hospital/medical settings but he was able to keep them calm and happy. I was impressed with his bedside manner and approachability.
