1 /5 Mason Capistran: In April 2023, we had an International semi towed to Motion after losing the reverse gear. We told them to order and install a reman 10-speed, and it took them a ridiculous 3.5 months to even find and install the transmission. They insisted on an upfront deposit for both the transmission and labor later — not typical, but whatever. Once they finally got the transmission in, we sent our employee to pick it up. When they did, there were random bolts scattered all over the cab and the work was a complete mess. The morning my driver was set to leave, he pointed out how awful the transmission sounded on the top side, so we brought it back for Motion to process a warranty claim. Following up on this was an absolute nightmare. I had to chase them down twice a week for 5 months. At this point, everyone at Motion knew me by name and phone number (I’m from Minnesota). They got so fed up they stopped answering my calls, forcing me to use other people’s phones just to get any response. Almost a year later, we finally get the truck back — and the work was still subpar. The level of incompetence and unprofessionalism from this shop is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. I wouldn’t trust these clowns to find water if they fell out of a boat. STAY FAR AWAY unless you want your equipment ruined by amateurs.
