I came to her frustrated with my hair after gastric sleeve surgery with my hair always falling out in clumps. With her guidance and help, she got my hair back to healthy even with making it look fabulous! I can’t say enough great things about her. You should just trust your hair with her! She will take good care of you!

Top Notch Hair - McKinney Grimm Reaper: So.. I mean absolutely no offense to the lady who owns the store.. But to anyone who wants to restyle, get a new hair dye color, a perm or anything other than a regular haircut, trim or just a touch up...i would ABSOLUTELY go to a more professional hair salon.. The lady who runs the store is VERY hard to understand with her accent (at least for me), her hands are really shaky and her back and walk seem to be severely impaired.. If you do just want a haircut, touch up or trim. Then absolutely shes the best and cheapest option for a good maintenance haircut. But.. The other stuff.. If youre super picky about your hair or want it a specific way.. Id definitely go to a place a bit higher end.
ML Hair Braiding - McKinney Daeja Bell: ML BEAUTY is Amazing! They are hospitable, accommodating and I got small boho braids and I LOVE my hair! They even offered some complimentary chips and water or soda.

My personal favorite: studio 103 - Russian Manicure and Pedicure by Aigul: Mint Pro Beauty. Check it out! Honestly the best !!! I came to grand opening of this place and I was impressed. Clean!!! Epic bathrooms! Honestly! Modern good vibes good easy to get to location.
Jinyi’s Salon - McKinney Funju Kim: I requested my hair done with curly by showing the photo she asked me to show what kind of hair I wanted. Ended up straight hair,. when I complained about it, she blamed me that I straightened my hair intentionally.
She said she would give me a 15-minute consultation for my ruined $200 hair. After free consultation, she would charge an extra $100 for redo all over hair perm. She offered only side hair for free. I wouldnt go back . She blamed me that I dont know how to style my hair appropriately. My hair seemed a little curled when she applied lots of curly essence , which was temporary. She insisted she did a good job. I went to another shop for 2nd opinion for my hair done. A hair stylist told me my hair was don was ,awful, but Jinyi kept insisting she did a good job..
Shear Philosophy - McKinney Katie: This salon is charming and the stylists are amazing!! Its location is fabulous in downtown McKinney, close enough to grab a bite or drink with your new fabulous hair but not so close you cant find parking for your appointment. Ive never left unhappy with my hair but I know if I didnt love something that if I just told the stylist it would get fixed straight away! They even have a lash artist, I havent done mine yet, but have a friend that gets hers done here and they always look great! Check them out and you wont be disappointed. Just remember good things arent cheap and cheap things arent good, but the pricing isnt outrageous, its on par for the area!!

SUPERCUTS - McKinney Lisa Angulo: I recently had a short hair style done with low lights and highlights during my first visit to Supercuts Cuts in Mc Kinney on University Ave with Katrina as my stylist. It was by far the best cut and color I have ever received.
Throughout my 68 years, I have visited numerous hair salons and worked with various stylists from high end salons to average, none no matter the price range have compared to Katrinas level of excellence and expertise. I have returned to her for follow-up appointments for cuts, styles, and touch-ups, and I plan to continue doing so as long as she remains at her current location. In fact, I am willing to follow her wherever she may go in
the future.
I highly recommend Katrina for anyone seeking exceptional hair care services.
