What Clients Are Saying about Los Encinos Park (on GG)
4 /5 cheluh: nice park, good fields for soccer, baseball, tennis, and more. Small amount of parking spots tho !
5 /5 Eugenio Limon: Open all year around and you get to see the airplanes land/takeoff at McAllen airport
5 /5 Juan Davila: best soccer park in the entire rgv yessssss
5 /5 Pemika Garza: A few months ago, the park was old and looked unsafe. My husband decided to send an email to the mayor. A few months later, I found that ts was developed. Everything are new and look more safe. However, my daughter and I visited there on Saturday and found that the playground was closed for some reason, I dont know.
liby Martinez: My daughter loves coming here. I like the fact that it is open late. Many different play areas, plus has a water play station. Also has a pet area and skate board area.
Jessica Barnes: We really enjoyed our visit. There were lots of butterflies and birds to watch. We even got to see a beautiful ribbon snake.
The staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions. This is a really nice place to spend a few hours.
My only "complaint" would be that the information signs were all missing. I hope that they are being updated.
We definitely want to visit again.
Amber Palomo: I love this park! There are multiple trails to walk or bike, so it never gets boring. It has four or five small playgrounds, a pavilion, a nice little duck pond, and plenty of open space. There are also baseball fields, a soccer area, and two basketball courts—one under the pavilion and one outside.
The dog park is pretty big, and there are plenty of covered picnic spots if you want to hang out. Parking is never an issue with several big lots. Overall, it’s a great spot to get outside, stay active, or just relax and enjoy the scenery!
A huge plus is it’s very well lit at night and there’s usually a cop driving around.
Jessica Benavidez: Wasnt crowded on the Sat I went around 3 pm. 6 benches at splash pad, some with shade coverage. Spacious. Clean. Free and entertaining for littles. I would assume that kids up to 10 would enjoy. Has buckets that dump water, circle/ring "tunnel" lots of floor fountains that spray high and low. Pretend Fire hydrant has spay spouts. Dry playground looked good, across from splash pad. Fence around the area but has openings for dry playground area and the other opening is for the walking trail.Has decent size restrooms but I didnt go in.
Luis Gonzalez: Without a doubt, a beauty in South Texas. Ive been here several times, and Im still amazed at the vastness of this place. Its spacious, and always cool, so bring a sweater!
Ive brought my family here, and they loved it. I will be coming back. The new jail addition was great too! Love it!
5 stars mang!
Maria Alcazar: We rented a building there for a toddler birthday party. Big space, theres a refrigerator, stove ,large sinks, and plenty of tables and chairs. And very cleaned bathrooms
Calsi Aycock: Nice place to bring the kids for the day. No grilling so bring food already made or sandwiches. Splash pad there but closed Mondays for cleaning. At least thats what the sign said. There are covered picnic tables spread out throughout the beach. And also a walkway over the water to enjoy a peaceful walk and enjoy the scenery because this place was beautiful! Water was pretty warm but what do ya expect it was August when we went. Needless to say we didnt stay for very long in the water. To warm . But we did enjoy the time we spent here
Lennon Mark: Great tour. Really enjoyed hearing about the history of Granbury, even though we didn’t see any ghosts it was a lot of fun! Definitely worth the money.
