Edinburg Municipal Park - Edinburg (TX)

5 /5 Amber Palomo: I love this park! There are multiple trails to walk or bike, so it never gets boring. It has four or five small playgrounds, a pavilion, a nice little duck pond, and plenty of open space. There are also baseball fields, a soccer area, and two basketball courts—one under the pavilion and one outside. The dog park is pretty big, and there are plenty of covered picnic spots if you want to hang out. Parking is never an issue with several big lots. Overall, it’s a great spot to get outside, stay active, or just relax and enjoy the scenery! A huge plus is it’s very well lit at night and there’s usually a cop driving around.

5 /5 Reuben Reyes: Huge park with several baseball diamonds, soccer pitches, basketball courts, huge pavilions, swings, slides, jungle Jim’s, and splash pad. They also have a walking or jogging paths close by. Very well maintained and scenic. A great place for all to enjoy or relax. They have several benches and picnic tables also. Everything was very well maintained.

5 /5 Ileana Garcia: Beautiful park. Lots to do. Soccer park, baseball park, walking trails, water park, picnic areas. Bathrooms, lakes, lots of birds around the lake area.

5 /5 Anthony Marks: My son and I tried out a lot of local parks (and there are a lot) near McAllen, but we always find ourselves coming back to this park. Because of this, we treat it as our sacred place for walking. We usually give each other a fist bump before heading our separate ways for an hour to experience the wonder of the park. The staff keep this place in pristine condition and I usually bring 2 Ziploc bags full of bird seed to feed the local birds even in the hot summer.
