5 /5 Tracy Clem: Not much for kids to really enjoy, except for the pool during the summer. Could use some extra things for the pool and maybe expand the pool and pool area add a splash pad, a nice one. The kids (all ages) dont have much to do or enjoy here. I remember the skating rink when I was a kid. Kids need some real good family/kid fun around here. Not every parent has a car, or money to always take their children to Lubbock and stuff. Im just saying though.

Granbury City Beach Park - Granbury

Calsi Aycock: Nice place to bring the kids for the day. No grilling so bring food already made or sandwiches. Splash pad there but closed Mondays for cleaning. At least thats what the sign said. There are covered picnic tables spread out throughout the beach. And also a walkway over the water to enjoy a peaceful walk and enjoy the scenery because this place was beautiful! Water was pretty warm but what do ya expect it was August when we went. Needless to say we didnt stay for very long in the water. To warm . But we did enjoy the time we spent here

Shanley Park - Granbury

Cindy Cook: What a gem tucked in a couple of blocks off the square! Beautiful and peaceful with fountains and the canal. There is a bike/walking trail through the park that loops back through the square. Its an easy 1-mile walk. I visited both days I was in town.

Kiwanis Falls - Sulphur Springs

Jason Hanson: Just stopped by passing through Sulphur Springs. There were several out walking around the lake. Very well maintained. There are plenty of ducks and geese to feed, lol.

Coleman Park - sulphur springs tx 75482 -

kjkeeler: I love this park. It has a great walking trail, about 2 miles around the lake. One part has imagination mountain which has a tunnel you can walk through. Theres also a little waterfall. Another part has baseball fields. You can also walk across Main street and there is a trail that leads to Buford Park where there is a nice wooden playground, another walking trail and a skate park.

Southwest Dairy Museum - Sulphur Springs

H Clyde (Habanero): This is an awesome museum specializing in the history of the dairy industry from the 1800s up to more modern times. This is a must see for kids and adults that were not raised on a farm to understand were milk comes from. Its a must see from folks raised on a farm to see all the old dairy equipment that you have always seen but never really knew what it was for. I wish they had a couple more exhibits on new present day dairy farms and their milking equipment. Highly recommend.
