Minnie R.: Im a sucker for history and this was wonderful. Loved being able to walk through the historical homes and buildings. Really takes you back to a time of new beginnings. Would definitely recommend, mostly because people need to go to keep history alive.

Luna Liberación: A lovely magical place. The air here smells divine. A diverse collection of wildlife, plants, even a sensory garden. My family and I love to explore nature and have been all over Texas, NM, VA and AZ, this is one of the most lovely spots we have been in. I love the colors here, the vibrancy of green and the stillness. Come, lose yourself awhile in nature.

Juan Ruiz: This is a Harlingen staple. A clean and family friendly park. Its lit up with Christmas lights on the holidays and its a great place to take pictures. The trails, if you are adventurous enough and have the resiliency, can take you from one end of Harlingen to the other, ending your trek at the city library. Under bridges, following a small river, and full of nature.

Armando Garcia: It is a great place to walk, run and bike. It is recommended to bring bug spray just in case and water due to the heated weather on sunny days. The scenery is amazing when the sun goes down by seeing the sky and stars on clear nights. 3 parks are connected to the trail here

Nicole Brandenburg: Quaint and adorable country museum with some really surprising history! Pittsburg has a lot more recognizable names than I’d realized and this little museum surprised me. Our tour guide Jean was friendly and kept the tour interesting for myself and my 2 kids, ages 8 & 11. When we camp, my daughter loves to go to historical sites and museums and she really enjoyed this one. The airship replica is super cool. The museum is bigger than it looks, and well worth the money and time to make a pit stop here.
    Broach Park - Pittsburg
    Broach Park
Christine B: This is a fun place to play some ball and play on the playground. There are walking trails, tennis courts and many swings. The older portion of the playground needs a little work but it is currently under a remodel and they are adding on. The newer part is nice and has covered picnic tables.
