Harlingen Arts and Heritage Museum - Harlingen (TX)

5 /5 Minnie R.: Im a sucker for history and this was wonderful. Loved being able to walk through the historical homes and buildings. Really takes you back to a time of new beginnings. Would definitely recommend, mostly because people need to go to keep history alive.

4 /5 Judy Arnold: The buildings in this museum are well preserved and show how life was in Harlingen when it was first started. Mr. Hill, who was the founder of Harlingens life story, is told in his house on the property. The HEB building is a nice story of how life was in the valley.

5 /5 Speed Fiend: There were some great historical displays at this place but I was actually there to see the Day of the Dead display which is there until early November I believe.

4 /5 Cindy Geisinger: The culture museum was closed which we wanted to go. The buildings that were moved to there were closed because of climate. The quilt show was awesome took lots of pictures. Could only take pictures of the outside of the buildings we wanted to see. Ok only 4 stars because we did not get to see what we went for. Yes they are renovating the museum about the culture and history. Touring the houses or building was a disappointment since we couldnt.

5 /5 Pamela Padilla: Its a hidden gem! The place has so much to explore, its simply incredible. The old hospital was spectacular, all the employees were lovely, you have to visit this place.
