5 /5 kjkeeler: I love this park. It has a great walking trail, about 2 miles around the lake. One part has imagination mountain which has a tunnel you can walk through. Theres also a little waterfall. Another part has baseball fields. You can also walk across Main street and there is a trail that leads to Buford Park where there is a nice wooden playground, another walking trail and a skate park.

5 /5 Breanna Murray: Very beautiful park with lots of cool plant life, small animals, and cool bugs! POISON IVY was present close to the trail along shaded areas. Portapotty bathrooms, lots of parking, soccer fields, shaded resting & walking areas, as well as picnicking tables! Sunny grassy areas as well. When we stopped, it was early April and very green. We seen people playing soccer, a man jogging and a father and son playing together. It was very pleasant park.

5 /5 Alisha Russell: The walkway around the lake is nice, we love the bridges and the waterfalls are great. We come to this park often, its a good place to relax and watch turtles and birds.

The walking trail is very relaxing and it takes you to see the lake,nature and even a water fall where you can see ducks and birds everywhere. Their soccer field in the back along with baseball field and a tennis court. The park is well maintained and beautifully structured. Definitely coming back again with my family.

5 /5 Lynn: Wow!!! Came upon this today and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of greenery, trees with benches and trash cans. If you’re in to disc golf there’s a huge course. Clean paths and lots of wildlife. Geese, ducks, turtles and we even saw two Ostrich or Emus toward the back of the park. They must have escaped from somewhere nearby. The two were gone before we made it to the back of the park.

Rowena McBride: The plaza is such a beautiful area! The memorial is situated right next to the amazing Hopkins County courthouse and surrounded by a nice park area! Plenty of places to sit outside and eat, a small splash pad for children to play in, a large chess set, and glass bathrooms!

John Kelly: Amazing piece of history in Crockett, Texas, on the Camino Real. Unfortunately, it was not open when we were there.

Heritage Museum & Potton House - Big Spring

Michael Miller: Nice little museum for a really low price (note: Potton house no longer included). I definitely learned a few things I never knew before, such as a female bull fighter and a local who became a movie star and Jean Porter, who was a movie actress and pinup girl.

Hangar 25 Air Museum - Big Spring

Julie Cantu: Very interesting museum. Docent told the story of the WW2 bomber training. Leashed dogs are allowed inside the hanger. Planes and other exhibits mostly inside, a few planes parked outside.

Big Spring State Park - Big Spring

Dale Nuaman: The beauty of the water and rocks was stunning. The lovely metal sculptures depicted the history of the area and the plaques told more of the story by the limestone amphitheater. I wish I lived closer so I could see the events held in that lovely place. I was also impressed see the multiple playground and picnic areas all throughout the park.

Comanche Trail Park - Big Spring

Deb Woodard: Great community park and so much to do. We appreciated the free overnight rv spots (no hookups, not very level, but at the price-free-- theres nothing to complain about). We felt safe and slept well. Bigger rigs (like us) will want to proceed carefully at the entrance, and be aware theres no turnaround loop. Since it was virtually empty, we were able to maneuver into a fairly level space at the bottom of the hill without difficulty. This is adjacent to a golf course, and if it was open, wed definitely like to make use of the aquatics center.

Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum - Greenville

Melvin C: A relatively small museum packed with history. Reasonable price for such a lesson on Audie Murphy and the area. Various displays showing things of historical value and life in a time gone by. A video about A.M. and the area explains his journey through life. I will return when passing through the area. A required stop, young and old, for some excellent history lessons.
