La Belle Nails & Spa - La Marque (TX)

2 /5 T Mc: Where do I begin? I’ve been a client of La Belle Nails & Spa for yrs, prior to their present location but my pain tolerance and patience is now DONE! I previously forgave the bloody toe I was left with after the tech was overzealous when “removing a hang nail”. I was also patient and kind enough to climb around the dangerous construction obscuring the entrance. But to spent so much money, in this economic climate only to receive subpar service on clumpy/ tacky pedi that costed $60+ and after returning 2 consecutive days (to fix it) SEEMS LIKE A DELIBERATE slap in the face as a REGULAR client. See attached photos below. The 2 stars are for the manicure. RUN pass this place for your own good.

5 /5 Elizabeth Dickey: Prices are super reasonable. My nails lasted THREE WEEKS, overlay with French tip. Tony does an amazing job. A friend and I got overlay nails and painted toes $125 for both of us combined! Can’t beat the price or the quality. I’ve tried several other shops in the area. I’m not going anywhere else but HERE.

1 /5 Alexis Neely: I’ve been here a couple times for a pedicure and I’ve like the service. My pedicures always come out as expected and the plain white (no gel) remains as requested. On Saturday, I went around 12pm to get nails done before my daughters Sweet 16 party. On this visit, I got my nails done this time. While getting my nails done, I was questioned over 5 times about getting gel nails, shellac and powder instead of regular white nails as requested. I got really aggravated having to constantly repeat what I wanted. My nails are finally done and I’m getting ready to go wash and I’m asked again if I want shellac polish for an extra $15 dollars. Again, I say no. Very pushy with telling you what you need and what would last or look better rather than listening to what the customer wants or is requesting. Anyways, My daughters and I leave and everything is fine until 7pm. We are getting dressed to leave and my nails are a totally differed color. Brown!!! Mind you, I went to the mall, decorated a hotel room and put clothes on after a shower. I never touched any chemicals, makeup or anything else to make my nails this color. My toes are white while my nails are brown. Same service was requested on nails and toes. Disgusted on so many levels. I spent $150 at the place only to have something totally different not even 24 hours later.

4 /5 LCC Davis: There are so many nail salons and all of them are hit or miss. Although the reviews for this one seemed 50/50 I just tried it anyways since its close by. Everyone was polite, but there is the obvious communication barrier like many other nail shops. There was a guy not wearing gloves while doing pedicures, and gloves should be mandatory for safety reasons. Other suggestions include better ventilation for everyones sake, and UV Dryers specifically for pedicures. Other than that my pedicure went well. Exactly as I wanted it. My manicure (full set ombre with color acrylic powder) was done by Michelle who did an absolutely amazing job. I showed a photo of what I wanted and they did it EXACTLY like the photo. I am very pleased with my manicure and plan to return. PHOTOS FOR REFERENCE: Photo I showed to Nail Tech (1st picture)...My nails once done (2nd picture). Great job getting it right!

3 /5 Stephanie Barry: The polish still looks great 2 weeks later! The price is fair ($40-45) and I totally appreciated getting a free coke. However, the place is run down/messy and they didn’t want to lose a customer, so they said they could work on my nails and put me in the chair - but didn’t tell me I’d have to wait 45 min (when they would be closed) instead of turning me away. One employee had gone home for the day already, and I didn’t know they were short staffed. I wished they’d just said they couldn’t do it, but I understand them not telling me this and not wanting to lose a customer.
