1 /5 Nic R: I asked for ombre nails that were almond shaped medium – short. Instead, I received a set of fingernails that were not prepared properly. No trimming no cuticle removal.
The powder was laid on very thick and the ombre effect didn’t go as expected. I’ve had this done many times and there is a gradual change from one color to another that didn’t occur.
I produced a picture on my phone of the shape of nail and length that I wanted to make sure that that was communicated even if there are language barriers. This set was supposed to cost me $40 but I suppose since I chose to do ombre it came out to $60. (it was not communicated to me that there was an up charge or what it was.)
I always tip well so the total came out to $80. I’m a little bit resentful because this is not good quality. Perhaps it is my fault for trusting a nail salon inside of Walmart but the prices enticed me and now I know that you get what you pay for. Some people go here and have a great experience but that just wasn’t what happened for me.
