5 /5 E B: We were looking for a trusted auto shop in North Dallas. We found Knapp Auto Repair and couldn’t be happier. Robert is nothing short of amazing. I feel like we found the needle in the haystack with Knapp Auto. Robert and his team worked tirelessly to help us troubleshoot a recurring issue with our vintage Jeep TJ. Robert always made himself available and was so attentive. He went above and beyond to help us get resolution to the electrical issue the Jeep was experiencing. I honestly cannot say enough about this business and they have a customer for life.

5 /5 Gianna Pauletto: This is hands-down the best car shop in Dallas. Fair, honest, and run by wholeheartedly kind individuals who work hard, serve well, and even make you laugh along the way. Robert is as real as it gets—no BS, just genuine care and transparency. As a female college student from out of state who knows next to nothing about cars, I know I could easily be taken advantage of by other mechanics—but not at Knapp. I felt respected, informed, and truly cared for. I’m incredibly grateful for Robert and the entire team. Thank you for doing things the right way. I appreciate you more than you know.

5 /5 Thunder: If you need a good auto mechanic I would suggest Knapp’s. I just moved to Dallas and finding a new GOOD mechanic is hard now days. Dealership mechanics only care about numbers, so your car is a number. & 2025 everyone’s going electric. Well I’m sticking to reliable fossil fuel vehicles. But In order to due so, you need a good mechanic. Support your personal mechanic and they will support you. They are going nostalgic

Such an amazing owner, Robert, that made a huge difference by fixing my SUV BIG TIME! There is a reason this place has been around for so long. I have had several friends and colleagues recommend his place. The knowledge he and his team have and exhibit is top tier. My kiddos and I left with a completely different vehicle in less than an hour. Tidal was a genius working on my vehicle. They saved me hundreds if not thousands for repairs that I was quoted elsewhere. Thank you beyond words!!!

5 /5 Kathryn Wahl: Knapp is the only place I will ever bring my car to in Dallas. As a female, it’s incredibly frustrating to deal with auto shops— they either talk down to you or try to rip you off (most of the time both). But the guys at Knapp are amazing! They’re super nice and give you a fair price. My husband had an issue with his truck and I told him to bring it to Knapp. They did an entire diagnostic on it and ended up telling him to go to the dealership since it would be covered under his warranty instead of having to pay for them to do it— they didn’t even ask for anything in return for looking at his truck!
