1 /5 Lorenzo Skinner: I took my bmw inn to find out it was a starter! I went ahead and let them do the work to only get my vehicle back with a check engine light onn ! I had to take it back after i checked and realized a hose wasn’t hooked back up
When i took it back they had this tweaked out kid looking at my car and come to find out he was the one that did the work! It was late in the day so i had to leave and bring back after weekend since it was gonna take longer than expected! The kid drove my car back around and looked all nervous so when I brought it back the following Monday, I asked the Old Mechanic, if that kid was certified, he stated that he wasn’t so I didn’t feel comfortable having him practice on my car even with the starter since he obviously didn’t know what he was doing so I’d make sure the oldest mechanic which he is certified fixed it right at the end of the day I picked my car up and check engine light was off but now about a month later I hear something knocking and making noises that my engine wasn’t doing because this kid obviously wasn’t certified and must’ve left something loose or did something wrong. I paid a Little over 1000 just for a starter for them to be letting uncertified mechanics work on your vehicle and breaking stuff when they’re taking it apart or not putting stuff back the way it was Very disappointed and they shouldn’t be letting uncertified kids work on your vehicles to practice or learn when they don’t know what they’re doing. Just beware. No, I’m just waiting for my car to Breakdown with A more serious issue They couldn’t do it right the first time And Put everything back the way it was when I took it or when It wasn’t making those noises So hopefully they didn’t do something to my car to eventually break down with something more serious because obviously it’s how they make their money if you take your car there make sure a certified mechanic does all the work not some dumb nervous tweaked out kid
