1 /5 Jennifer Hierholzer: I just had the rudest interaction at this shop. I was recommended by a friend to bring my car here for repair. I walked in an waited a few minutes. There was no one working in the office. So I poked my head in the shop to let one of the mechanics know I was here. A man rolled his eyes and came over to me. He was very annoyed. He asked what I wanted. I told him I need some help with my car. He very rudely snapped back “help? Like what?” I said I needed my car repaired but there was no one to ask about it in the office. He snarked and said “well, we don’t work in the office.” So I left. I will take my business elsewhere.

5 /5 Billine Solomon: Kevins Automotive was recommended to me by one of my sons who is a friend of his. I had never met him and I do not feel like he treated me any different from anyone else. (I did not use my sons name during the experience.) I wanted a second opinion on some recommended repairs. They were in agreement on some, not on others, and made necessary recommendations as a result of their diagnosis and inspection. They did the maintenance needed in a very timely manner and saved me a few hundred dollars. Thank you, Kevin and crew. I highly recommend Kevins Automotive, 3222 Commerce Street, Amarillo, TX, and will use them again for my car maintenance.

5 /5 conner steadman: I had my transmission fluid changed here and had a good experience. Took my own fluid and was charged only $40 for labor. Much cheaper than many other auto shops. Great service! Recommend this shop!

5 /5 Jonah Anderson: I been going to Kevin for over two decades. He give a fair price for the work he puts in a vehicle. He will always do right by you and will never sell you something you dont need. He will freely share his knowledge with you if have any questions and not give you the run around like so many other mechanics will do. Be prepared to leave your vehicle for a few days with Kevin does his own thing. So find another ride to get around or have a secondary vehicle. I would also recommend to call ahead to see if he got a spot available for your vehicle. He can get back long with so many repairs it could be a while before he can get to your repair. I always recommend Kevin to anyone and he the only mechanic I who I trust at his word.

5 /5 Janis J.: Our tires broke down pretty badly while traveling through Amarillo and Kevins Automotive was able to get us on the road again for 250$ instead of the ~1000$ we would have paid to the first mechanic we went. Additionaly the service was really fast, convenient and after a nice chat with them I can assure you that they are honest guys. If youre looking for a repair without shenanigans for an awesome price, this is the place to go.
