My hygienist, Chris, complemented me on my teeth being so well taken care of. She expressed how she would love to have more patients with teeth like mine. Truth be told, Dr Woodburn and his staff are the reason my teeth are healthy and clean. Their attention to detail in every aspect along with their professionalism has made a lasting impression on me and my family. We are indebted to their wonderful care.

The dentist and the hygienist were both incredibly professional and friendly. Dr. Moncada took the time to explain every procedure and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. Pendergrass Tyler L DDS - Amarillo MARIA NORTHCUTT: Always a pleasure! We have been at Pendergrass and Wilkie Dentistry since we moved to Amarillo in 2023 and they have been more than accommodating! My daughter and I get seen for all our scheduled cleanings and regular check ups at the same time. Have had no issues with scheduling. Reminders are sent out in a timely manner and very much appreciated! Always helpful and attentive to any concerns I may have. Especially now that she’s ready for braces.
Allington Dental - amarillo - Amarillo Kade Michael Roberts: The staff were amazing, however, I left before they did my two fillings. The room they put me in was not clean at all. All of the sterilized tools for my procedure were placed on a paper on top of a very dirty counter top. Most of the surfaces in the room had not been wiped down in some time it appeared, and I just did not feel comfy having the procedure in that room. I walked out before my procedure, and Im changing my insurance to go back to my old dentist. Sorry Allington, but this was a big no no for me.
Ingenic Dental Studio - Amarillo Shane Warden: Jake and the team at Ingenic are top notch! Super friendly, kind, caring, respectful, and do a great job! I had two fillings that were a breeze. I was out of there in no time! They put special care into what they do and it shows! That atmosphere there is also very nice, clean, cozy, and comfortable. All of this actually makes me enjoy going to the dentist!

Amarillo Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery & Dental Implants - Amarillo Randy Whitehurst: My teeth were in really bad shape. I’d had braces on from 12 years old until 19. My parents were not wealthy, and circumstances caused us to lose dental insurance. I took them off myself when I was 19, and didn’t go to a dentist about it until I was in my 30s. I find myself in a much better situation financially these days and went to get them fixed. All on 4 uppers is the best way if you’re going to have to replace your teeth!!! It’s been a ride, there were some complications that were not the fault of AOMS I don’t think. Like I said, I was in bad shape.
I started the process in May of 2023, and finished the process yesterday! (02/19/25) AOMS only charged me the one fee for the process that was supposed to take a year. It’s been almost two, and they’ve stood behind their work and treated me very well! I paid up front, and they haven’t asked for another dime! They even had to knock me out and operate a year later when some of the implants failed.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’ve had teeth in my mouth since the day they operated, it just wasn’t perfect. I mean, I thought they were great how they were the first time around, but they weren’t happy. The implants weren’t as solid as they’d have liked, so we had to redo them. To me it already felt 1000 times better than what I had naturally. Had I gone to Mexico and saved money I’d likely still be happy, and wouldn’t have a clue that the implants weren’t quite right, I mean I could handle just a little discomfort compared to what I had before. Now though, I see what they were concerned about. All that’s gone too!
I can eat steaks and beef Jerky without pain. I mean, I could probably pick up a steak and just bite it with my teeth! My teeth are more solid than they’ve been since I can remember. My smile is amazing now! Don’t go for the cheap implants across the border. Things happen, and what would you do then? Also, AOMS took their time fitting and making sure everything feels as natural as my own teeth would as far as how they fit together. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you Gloria and the AOMS team!!!
