1 /5 Molly Thomas: I took my 1 year old in this past Saturday and had a terrible experience. We were the 3rd patient checked in when the clinic finally opened after the provider was 10 minutes late and the office staff not letting anyone in. After being checked in we waited for over an hour before even being called back. They would only call back 2 patients per hour. After getting called back I was worried about my daughter being sick for over a week, but the NP was only worried about strep. After explaining to her that 1 year old having strep was extremely rare, she looked at me like I was the dumbest person alive and said she regularly sees 6 month olds with strep. I dont know where this NP got her license but she probably needs some CEs. Ive been a nurse for 10 years and ran a clinic 5x this size and cannot believe the slow wait times and lack of knowledge from the staff treating patients. When I left people who checked in immediately behind me were still in the waiting room. I think they were probably waiting 2-3 hours just to be seen. I dont know who runs this clinic but it needs to be better managed. Terrible service in a town that only has one option for care on weekends.
