1 /5 Nina Collins: I was referred to them through the VA Community Care. First they threw my paperwork away, not once, but twice. When the VA called they said I had to have an appointment before paperwork was sent. So, finally got an appointment that I had to make myself. Upon arriving 10 min early on the day of my appointment, I am turned away because I haven’t gotten my DL switched to Texas yet. Though I have an appointment with the DPS because they only do appointments there. Appointments that are scheduled 5 to 6 months out. So, I was refused service because I did everything I was supposed to do. Totally unsupportive of their Military Veterans that need to be seen. I wouldn’t suggest the VA or any other Veteran request to be seen there.

Heath Gilchriest: I think that Terri Barnhart, and all of the staff are great people. Just like anyone, their calendar gets filled quickly, but that happens at every office. They always go over and above to take care of me, personally. The staff is very friendly, and great about reminding you of an appointment. Her staff is very friendly, and are very nice. When you walk through the door, they know you, and try to get you in as quick as possible. Terri really cares about her patients, and will talk to you about anything and answer your questions. You can definitely tell she actually cares, and listens to you. If you need a PCP in the a Jasper area, I would most certainly recommend them. I’ve read other reviews, and I don’t think some are accurate reflections of the support you are given there.

He called me three days in a row worried about my cholesterol. I am 67 years old and have never had a doctor care like Dr. Brown does! He does the same for my husband! I highly recommend him!

Olivia Portillo: This place is "always booked". The nurses and techs are very nice. I didnt get the nurses name , but she made my daughter feel very comfortable ! Peter was the ultrasound tech, and did great with my daughter as well for her echo. Definitely need to do better at the front desk, they never schedule your next appointment, they make you call a month ahead to see if theres any openings. Trash , do better.

It saddened me to know this hospital lost some of the funding it had so they are working with limited care capabilities compared to other hospitals. They definitely deserve more funding. However, they cared for my daughter who had severe asthma very well.
