5 /5 Tjay B: This is the most clean and efficient hair braiding salon that I have ever gone to!!! I went in on Wednesday to set up my appointment. My hair stylist that I was paired with was Zara. I showed her the crochet style that I wanted. We set up an appointment for Friday afternoon, even though I could have gotten in same day. My appointment day came and Zara was communicative via text when she thought she might have a delay, but it ended up being that she didn’t. I went to my Friday appointment and sat in the chair right at my appointment time and I was out in an hour and 15 minutes!!!!! Zara did my cornrows and then she and another lady whipped my crochet hair in at lightning speed!! Let me note that I am super tender headed and nothing hurt while she was braiding or is hurting next day. I’m not itching in my scalp either. I’m allergic to coconut oil and this shop doesn’t use it, thank goodness for me!! Zara is wonderful!!! This shop is awesome!!! I will definitely be back!

1 /5 Amanda Davis: Biggest hair money scam I’ve even endured. They don’t care about the quality of hair just money. Do not go to them for microlocs with extensions. They can’t show you anyone long term and my daughter’s hair looks terrible one year later. The extensions and hair don’t match, the locs are very stiff and dry. They sold us a false dream. To do repairs they charge an astronomical amount of money. They are only about money and how fast they can work to get to the next customer for payment. I would not recommend them to anyone. Lesson learned. Now we will have to take down my daughter’s locs, lose out on all that money we paid to start them off, and start over with true professionals. I have microlocs myself and they are very well done. My loctician is the real deal but this place is not.

Alejandra Estrada: First off let me say I had been here before and never had a problem. Ladies are polite and welcoming but unfortunately greeting arent what we go there for. I took my daughter in on Saturday for a perm. Gave her a time for noon. I took her in at 10:30 so stylist could look at her hair and determine if it was ok for a perm since she had bleached her hair about two yrs ago. Stylist looked at my daughters hair and ran her fingers through it and said it looked fine and she would do it at 12. So we go back In only for her hair to be completely ruined. My daughter stayed in her room all weekend long crying because we payed over $100 plus tip for her hair to be ruined. No curls just waves here and there and straight ends on some places and burnt tips all over. We left there and her hair was soaking wet. Nothing can be done to fix the loofah style they left. I went back to speak to the owner asking for a refund since we have to go try and fix it elsewhere or shave her head. She flat out refused and said it was a risk we were taking. She said her employee spent 2 hrs rolling her hair. As if 2 hrs compares to the amount of time my daughter cried in her room all weekend long. It is unfair for such unprofessional service. If you dont know how to properly check when its done or when it isnt, pls dont ruin people s hair just for an amount of money. That isnt worth the amount of stress tears and emotional despair. Pls dont go here for perms. Make your research before going in for places that have reviews only on how polite or how clean the place was. It is only fair we get the service we pay for. I could have burnt and ruined my daughters hair at home for free. Owner was rude at the end of our conversation and proceeded to say foe me to do whatever I needed to do since it wasnt the first time this happens. Shows how professional they are. Sad because I came here before for haircuts and I was pleased, but then again that stylist doesnt work there anymore. Please people, read the correct reviews before making a huge mistake like we did.See for yourself and see her "perm". Dont recommend

I returned January 16th around 11 AM. I was greeted by a Hispanic lady with a very strong accent, I let her know that I was there to get a blowout, Her response was “we do not do that type of hair here“. I am a black woman, and I thought that was a very unprofessional response. I needed my hair done for an event that I had later that evening, I Found someone in Katie that does “my type of hair“ I wasted a lot of time that day Because I was instructed to come back all to be told that “we don’t do your type of hair here“. I do not believe that you should be able to be licensed if you cannot do all hair textures. Would not recommend this location to anyone with a tight curl pattern.

She was kind and patient as I explained what I wanted. She has good taste and offered suggestions based on my face shape and hair type. Then she not only delivered what I wanted, it actually looked way better than what I had asked for/expected! She has a real gift with those scissors, and brush/blow dryer! She is also reasonably priced, which is a huge bonus. You won’t regret making the choice to go to Christine. Thanks again!
