Emergency Room at HCA Houston Mainland - Texas City (TX)

2 /5 Gena Joiner: Gave this a 2 star because the nurse that handled us from beginning to end was absolutely fantastic otherwise is would be negative all the way around! Took my mother here for an organ LITERALLY falling out of her body!!!!! They took her vitals and a CT scan but never examined her. Never had a doctor visit. Never even got an ER room. We waiting hours and was only told to follow-up with a specialist for surgery. I am so disgusted the the care or lack there up provided. This is a "bandaid" ER only. Do not take your loves ones here if it really is an emergency.

1 /5 Cindy Warner: I came in to hca mainland er on the early morning of the 13th May, I was appalled at the treatment I recieved, I came in by ambulance, I fell and I knew I broke some toes, my pain at the time was a 10+, while I was still on the ambulance gurny a dr. Or nurse a big man with a bald head, walked by me and asked what was wrong I told him I believe I broke three toes, he proceeded to grab them hard and wiggle them, I screamed in pain, and he just walked away, Im like really!!! Then took me to er room took trays and yes 3 toes broken, I couldnt put any weight on them I couldnt walk, dr.guirges soliman didnt care he just left me sitting there, I will never go back there, nurse FA she was the sweetest person she found me some crutches so I can at least try to get in a Uber which she called for me and took care of the whole thing, I appreciate her so much for her kindness . I am still very mad about the treatment from the dr, and whoever the tall bald big man was. Discussted , also they charged my insurance over $13,000 they only xray my feet, thats it. That should be illegal.

5 /5 Basketball Stars: I came in this morning not able to turn my neck. I also came in with no insurance. I was in so much pain. I’m so glad I did come. It was well worth my time. I was able to turn my neck by the afternoon and my pain scale had come down by half. This was my 2nd visit to HCA ER in a 2 week period and I was treated with dignity. I appreciate you provider Ophelia Sanders and Amy Murillo. It means so much when you leave feeling better than you came in ❤️

4 /5 Shelly Smith: I was treated exceptionally well. The waiting area was completely full when I arrived. All of these mostly elderly people were waiting for a bed. Most were admitted but were stuck in this cramped waiting room. I believe that I should have been admitted but knew itd be the next day if I was lucky to actually lay down in a room. I felt for the staff having to listen to all of the complaints about waiting. They did the best they could it seemed. The nurse practitioner that examined me was great. Her name was Amy and I cant remember her last name. Even though Im still sick, Id return if need be. Hopefully more staff is hired to solve the wait problems. I feel like there were beds available just not enough staff to cover.
