Charles Young: Very nice little interactive gallery of coastal ecosystems and wildlife with a really cool 3D model of the planets. Our kids had a great time doing hands on tasks including knot tying and "digging" for clams. The "planet room" consisted of 4 ceiling mounted projectors aimed at a central sphere that resembled each planet with animation and recorded info that played while you sat and watched.

Bo Hundt: We love it cant wait to come back. Very clean well taken cared of. Wooded camp sites very private and secluded. DEER Everywhere. Fact is it saw more deer than anything else. Fishing was good wrong bait Im sure would have been dolphins but not when were fishing had one stayed at pier entire night. All in all one of best state parks we have visited. And dont forget to say hello to the big tree.

Dan Hogan: A very good pilot with a good four passenger plane working from a modern well maintained facility with ample free parking. Ben is highly experienced pilot who pays paticular attention to plane and passengers. His preflight walk around highlights the depth of his aviation knowledge to put you at ease pre flight and while airborne.

Alexandria Kaske: Very pretty area. Picnic table was broken. Porta potty for absolute emergency bathroom, but was very gross. Watch out for the resident alligators that are there. Beach area is fully oysters, so dont plan on letting kids or pets play around the water.

    The Big Tree - Rockport
    The Big Tree
Cristina Etchells: We came to see this lovely 1,000 year old live oak right before sunset. It is surrounded by a fence & a paved sidewalk. Steel (?) wires and poles are used to keep the branches up. Be careful not to brush your ankles with the nettle at the base of the fence—it can sting, itch & burn. There was no one in the parking lot except one other vehicle & a patron in a golf cart with his dog. It’s quite peaceful to walk around & be amongst all of the other trees too. Some laid low enough for kids to climb.
