Dr. Dental - San Antonio (TX)

1 /5 Nes Serra: Honestly it should be a Negative score. I never give/do reviews but my experience at Dr. Dental-Potranco is just so bad that needs to be shared for others to know/avoid. This Dr. Dental - Potranco location went really Downhill for the past years. I went in January for a filling in my front tooth ended up with 5 and got charge with 10 teeth after asking my insurance for the detailed breakdown of what was charged from my visit. The worst part was, the filling all came off just a few days after. I did several attempts reaching out to their office but no response and when you get someone to discuss your concerns they go around it without giving a solution to your concerns. This is just a really bad experience, so rating on this location and dentist-SA, should be -5.

1 /5 Maya Paris: Worst dentist, do not go. He did a filling that was so bad my son was in excruciating pain a few months after and had to get a root canal! He plastered the new filling over existing filling, didn’t bothered to remove all the old silver looking filling. There was so much hanging over the tooth that no floss could go in. We will report him to the right authorities.

1 /5 Cali Winter: If I could give them no starts I would I schedule an appointment weeks ago and when I can in they were not ready . The wanted me to reschedule. I called them a day before I went in no answer called five times no answer . I was told I would have a prescription for volume when I got there they wanted to the job without everything they said I would get . The office acts like they don’t care about patient . I asked them for a form of grievance and this note is what they gave me . Very unprofessional. I would never go there

1 /5 Britt “Bee”: The front desk receptionist was extremely rude. I had issues with her prior to my appointment. She misinformed me about my x-rays. Then I had to sit for 40 minutes while she called my insurance for information. She also took very long to get my paperwork together for cavity fillings. I could hear her and the other girls laughing and joking while I sat for 30 minutes waiting on the paperwork. I finally stepped out of the room and addressed her. The dentist there (cannot remember her name) was not very friendly or professional. The assistant who “cleaned” my teeth did not seem to know what she was doing. The cleaning took maybe 5 minutes at most. They claimed I had numerous cavities but, I went to another dentist who told me a much lower number. They did have decent prices on cavity fillings. However, my body shook uncontrollably for about 10 minutes after each injection for numbing. I was told it was normal. It was not. I was informed by my new dentist what happened and why my body shook uncontrollably. I would not recommend this dental office to anyone.

3 /5 Avilia Guardiola: I went in for a cleaning and its a very transactional experience. The people at the front desk are overstaffed so you speaking to them while they are on the phone sometime. The Dr. who cleaned my teeth was very quick and disconnected to the patient experience. She had someone assisting her who was in training and I was never told. Its important to share that information with the patient. They dont have a rinse station next to the chair which is annoying, I had to ask for mouth wash and walk to the restroom to rinse. I didnt even get a teeth cleaning kit, you know the packs of floss, gloss, paste and brush. It just felt very processed. I believe this location is part of a bigger chain. They good is that they can get you in fairly quickly. I just wasnt​ ad comfortable as I have been with my lovely dental office I had in my previous city. The search continues for an excellent dentist.
