Samantha Cervantes Beware of this office. They attempted to make unauthorized changes to my insurance and denied services after I would not approve the changes they asked for. I was given no prior knowledge of what change was being made. When I spoke to Dr matril he agreed it was handled inappropriately but still denied services and the front desk worker threatened to still "bill for X-rays and cleaning" though no service was provided. Our appointments were at 9&930. We arrived at 835-840. The dentist strolled in after 9am then they proceeded to have an office meeting. Never acknowledging the patients in the waiting room. At 915 I went up to the front desk to inquire how much longer we would be waiting only to be rudely approached and told to just wait more. We didnt finally get acknowledged and called back until 920-930. This whole location is filled with rude workers who attempt to commit insurance fraud. I reported them to my insurance and I reported the Dr.

Chris My insurance wouldnt cover any expenses. So I asked if the employees could help reduce my costs since I was going to pay out of pocket. They went through the itemized bill and discussed what could and couldnt be removed and worked with me to bring the bill down considerably. I appreciate that they even took the time to work w me on it.

Maria Acosta Very busy clinic, but despite that, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Cant say enough good things about my dentist, Doctor Marti . My elderly mother is also ihis patient and its really helpful that he speaks Spanish, but mostly he has a wonderful way of making you relax and has a light touch. Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do ,but when when its necessary It helps that you trust your dentist.

Amanda Campos Great service! Helped and answered my questions. I had went before to the one on commerce and the Dentists there was a waste of time. She did not talk to me or explain anything to me. Just walked out the room and left me in there.(I left with an infection that she didn’t want to prescribe me antibiotics and in level 10pain). I then went off Flores I was greeted and Dentists took her time to explain everything to me and assured I did have an infection and sent me prescription to take care of the problem. Nurses were great as well.

Alma Lombera We had a great experience at Brighton dental. Our tech was great. I love how she was very gentle with my daughter. She also explains exactly what she is going to do with my daughter’s braces. After going here for a year I have reconsider my review…they put the wrong braces on my daughter. They put gold instead of silver. My daughter was seen by the specialist and front personal had not done their job correctly getting a referral information on time to see the specialist. trying to get a hold of the at the office is hard, they don’t ever answer the phone, it goes to the corporate office and even though they are open corporate always says they are closed. Waiting in the front area, I can hear the front desk telling patients they can’t be seen do to unable to verify insurances which is incorrect, you can verify insurances over the phone with automated system or online. I know this working in healthcare industry. Front end does not know how to be professional talking in Spanish about patients when they think others don’t speak Spanish. Since being there I’ve seen so much turnover in this office.

Ruby Viera Corral Dr. Ibarra & Wilma took care of my dental cleaning and filling 7 cavities after a long lapse in dental care, and they were both so pleasant to talk to and made the experience so much better! I had a lot of cavities to fill, and I’m sure it was a challenge, but they did nothing but reassure me and affirm me in what I had been doing and trying for my dental hygiene. They are a power duo and I’d recommend them to anyone! I’ll definitely be making this my dental office for future needs as well :)

Adrian Conner I’m sorry to say, but I had the worst cleaning of my entire life. I think a dental assistant cleaned my teeth and not a dental hygienist. The the person seemed afraid to polish my teeth. They did a terrible job reaching all of my teeth. I didn’t get a floss done. Nobody scratched any of the tools onto my teeth to help remove any tartar maybe I didn’t have any. It definitely seemed that the person cleaning my teeth had little experience. Shouldn’t a dental hygienist, be cleaning my teeth? And flossing them? In addition - X-rays are taken at every single visit which is pushed every six months. X-rays should be once a year. I will be declining that service and maybe even moving onto another dental office. I love the dentist That sees me . But it seems like I’m not getting the same service I used to get At my previous dental office.

Hunting Fanatic The staff here is delightful, but the way this clinic is run is predatory, plain and simple. They just want your money. As the daughter of a dental hygienist (she’s in Wisconsin so I can’t go to her,) I was appalled to hear the hygienist tell me I have signs of periodontal disease ($2,000+ treatment) and that I needed a $500 night guard. I brush and floss daily like a good little kid, so I denied the treatment and the night guard as I’ve also had no issues with teeth grinding. My husband unfortunately wasn’t so privy to their tactics and accepted the treatments they recommended. Even though we have dental insurance, We were slapped with a bill in the mail for over $3,000 for some injections they gave him. Years later…I still get texts and calls from them to schedule another appointment, which clearly will never happen. Y’all have some awesome staff! I highly recommend you look for work elsewhere, as you and your patients will be happier at an honest clinic. Thankfully I found one!! Premier Dental is absolutely amazing!! Worth the commute :)

charlotte brattain The lady at the front desk and the actual dentist herself was wonderful and incredibly kind and smart, but the dental hygienist and overall experience was not good. My appointment was at 11:45 and I didnt get to go back for a cleaning until 1:20 and the hygienist spent a total of 2 minutes "cleaning" my teeth. All she did was quickly brush my teeth while getting the toothpaste all over my face and hair. She did not floss my teeth or get any of the plaque build-up off which was the whole reason why I wanted to come in the first place. They need to hire more staff so the employees are not so stressed and have to rush and get behind.

solo pro amazing service ! friendly, intelligent. they let me know they had a cancelation and got me in early. no unnecessary hoops to jump through which is huge for me. they dont bother me about my wisdom teeth which literally every time Ive been to another dentist i get the wisdom teeth lecture. i highly recommend this establishment ! 10/10

Guen Smith I read the reviews before making an appointment here and I didn’t listen to the one stars. Please don’t make the same mistake as me. I am a really observant person so when I walked in I was greeted nicely and it made me feel comfortable. When I went to sign-in I was told that my cleaning was covered by my insurance and it was $126. I went to the back I got my X-rays and then was instructed to wait to see the dentist. The dentist (frank) gave great reviews of my teeth. I have always gone to the dentist and received regular cleaning and I have had ortho work so my teeth are in great shape. Then the periodontal specialist came in and did the gum health assessment. Now I have also had periodontal treatment before so I wasn’t too surprised with his assessment. What did surprise me was that they did not clean my teeth. After seeing the periodontal specialist I was told that I was going to be informed of a treatment plan and would be checked out. I was confused cause again I was told that my cleaning would cost $126. When I received my treatment plan I was informed it would be it would be 3,216 before insurance and 1,088 after. Again I have been treated for periodontal and it wasn’t nearly this much. I change jobs so my insurance changed so I had to try a new dentist. That’s how I got here. Literally I went back to discuss this cost and other ppl where in there discussing their bills as well. Trust if you go here they will diagnose you with periodontal disease, will insist they can only clean if you agree to the treatment plan, offer you financing, but things will come up that your insurance won’t cover, increasing your out of pocket expenses. I was told to sign the periodontal treat even though I did not receive treatment then when I went back and ask to sign that I did not receive treatment they would not let me. They acted as if they could not find the original document. Trust me, don’t go here.

Rosa Garses Wait time was minimal. Everyone was really helpful and knowledgeable. Went through a cleaning that I had never had before with injections but of course trust that the medical staff knows what they are doing after all our teeth like our sight are very important.

Called me yesterday to change my time to this morning at 10:30 (gave me the option of 9:30 or 10:30) then when I came in today they put the wrong time and I missed my appointment. No apology or anything, super rude and not helpful at all. If I could switch dentists, I would. Very unprofessional. I related that I missed class and rearranged my day to make it and she was still super rude and had a “not my problem” attitude when I’m paying over $1,000 for my procedure. I am disappointed that such a big chain has people working without training in customer service. As the worker, you ALWAYS say sorry and try to make it right.

Stephanie LaFond They only have a high rating due to offering a free fluoride treatment for a 5 star review. They tried charging us $300 for a cleaning/exam. I questioned the charges because we have really good insurance. The receptionist said she would double check our insurance coverage. We waited 20 minutes. Left. Then she calls us as we are leaving the parking lot, stating that she verified our instance and there would be $0 due. Why wouldn’t they verify our insurance BEFORE trying to charge us $300? or even at the time of our appointment confirmation? Lost our business today. We will never go back. Scam artist.

Lana S This is a learning dentist office. One of the worst experiences Ive had. Literally took about 3 months to receive full service for 1 root canal! Inexperienced assistants who couldnt seem to put a temporary tooth on without it falling out in 2 days. Received about 4 temporaries before finally receiving my cap... Only because they ordered the wrong tooth color or unshipped products. One dentist is never even there and you can only see her. And the male Dr almost ripped my lips and mouth wide open just to peek inside! He didnt seem to care when I was in pain and kept on with my procedure even when I was coming out the chair!! Terrible experience!!!

April, 4th) for a cleaning and had a great experience—Adam at the front desk was very professional and understanding, especially knowing I drove from Houston to San Antonio just for this visit, as my family has been coming here for years. However, when I returned a week later for a crown and hit unexpected traffic, I called ahead to let them know. I spoke with Courtney (I believe), who was incredibly dismissive and rude. She made no effort to understand my situation and told me I’d have to be rescheduled with a $50 fee—no flexibility or empathy at all. The dental care here is great (Adam’s customer care is top-notch), but the front desk staff/receptionist is another story. This practice may lose loyal patients because of one bad apple whose main priority seems to be collecting a paycheck, not caring for patients

Ken Siar So I have dentures. When I got my teeth back from them in 2021 just a few months went by and my upper plate broke in half. They fixed them but then after the repair I ended up with a gap in my front teeth. I was just happy to get them back so I lives with it. Just 10 days ago tge broke again. I went back to give them an opportunity to make good. Tge receptionist was just not engaged with me with concern. Just blurted out 99.00 for the visit and whatever the lab wants to fix them. As usual Dr. Nademi was not in. Never going back to them. I do not trust they would do right. So I went to comfort dental on Babcock. 19.00 visit. Peter the dentist not only was ready to do whatever was needed he also cleaned my steel posts, cleaned my dentures. But gave me 4 options to which to choose for the replacement of my teeth. They made me feel like I was theyre only customer.

Aida River My experience here was very pleasant. I hadnt been to a dentist in a while because I get very nervous. I loved the way they treated me. It was a pleasant experience. Everyone was kind and friendly in every area they treated me. The dentist and assistant were very patient with me since Spanish is my first language. The dental assistant helped me by translating occasionally. They explained the process and my options and listened to what I wanted to do. My daughter was seen after me, and it was also a good experience. She received her cleaning and treatment. She liked the TV screen in the ceiling haha! Me too! We will definitely return for future appointments.

Nes Serra Honestly it should be a Negative score. I never give/do reviews but my experience at Dr. Dental-Potranco is just so bad that needs to be shared for others to know/avoid. This Dr. Dental - Potranco location went really Downhill for the past years. I went in January for a filling in my front tooth ended up with 5 and got charge with 10 teeth after asking my insurance for the detailed breakdown of what was charged from my visit. The worst part was, the filling all came off just a few days after. I did several attempts reaching out to their office but no response and when you get someone to discuss your concerns they go around it without giving a solution to your concerns. This is just a really bad experience, so rating on this location and dentist-SA, should be -5.

Maya Paris Worst dentist, do not go. He did a filling that was so bad my son was in excruciating pain a few months after and had to get a root canal! He plastered the new filling over existing filling, didn’t bothered to remove all the old silver looking filling. There was so much hanging over the tooth that no floss could go in. We will report him to the right authorities.

Cali Winter If I could give them no starts I would I schedule an appointment weeks ago and when I can in they were not ready . The wanted me to reschedule. I called them a day before I went in no answer called five times no answer . I was told I would have a prescription for volume when I got there they wanted to the job without everything they said I would get . The office acts like they don’t care about patient . Jose Martinez I recently had 5 teeth extracted at another clinic and after a week of pain it simply did not seem to get better, only worse. I saw 3 different dentists hoping they would help me but they didn’t really seem to care about my questions and concerns. The pain became so unbearable day by day until I encountered Dr. Cole. He was sincerely understanding and in my vulnerable state he was very informative and made me feel finally at peace with some answers. Dr. Cole is the definition of going beyond the call of duty.
