1 /5 Jay Kay: At first I considered not writing a review for the sake of their business, but then I quickly thought of the atrocious service that I received and how that may affect the next person (For a quick review please read the tabs below, for a full review please keep reading.)
1. Price from original receipt to final went up by 52% of the original price.
2. Took 4x the original time that was said to finish the job (and still marked up the price).
3. 90% of phone calls will not be answered.
4. Poor quality work (reinforcement fell out 6 miles down the road.)
To begin I simply went in for a bumper replacement and 1 headlight switch. All the materials (Bumper, Headlight) were already personally purchased and taken to the shop for installment. I was quoted a "fair" price but noticed that they refused to hand me the original receipt. I was told that the job would take 3 days but just to be safe it would take 5. I was also guaranteed that nothing would be done to the car unless I was contacted and that in exactly 3 days I would be contacted for an update.
I did not receive a call on the 3rd day 4th day nor 5th day. On the 5th day (which was when the car was supposed to be ready) I called the owner twice which he did not answer then finally on the 3rd try that after noon I got a hold of him in which he told me that the worker "Was not sure he even wanted to work on it."
I finally went up to shop for an explanation and was told that the bumper needed to "sit out in the sun" in 35 degree weather instead of using a heat gun to align it.
The shenanigans went on for an extra 4 weeks where finally the car was "ready." I arrived at the shop inspected the poorly done work and was given the final receipt only to find out that the price was marked 52% higher then the original price. When I asked for the original receipt I was met with vulgar language and was told that it was "Lost," and had to pay the price on the new receipt.
After 40 minutes of debating the documents the price was brought down to 25% higher then the original.
I paid the amount and was on my way home when around 6 miles from the shop the reinforcement on the bottom of the bumper completely fell out and was dragging on the ground. I parked the car and looked at the bottom only to find that the reinforcement was not properly bolted down to the car.
