1 /5 Coco Jo: Unclean facility, incompetent dentist. I provided my insurance information several days before arriving to my scheduled appointment and confirmed services would be covered and that theyre in-network. The assistant completed my x-rays and then the dentist came in and asked me several questions. She then told me they couldnt clean my teeth that day because they need to confirm that insurance will cover the service. I advised I was sure that its covered. The dentist replied, "Well, insurance can deny claims if the sky is blue." So, I clarify that shes not cleaning my teeth that day and she confirms that she is not. I had taken time off work for nothing.
The exam they completed counted towards one of my annual exams for the plan year. Insurance again confirmed that the cleaning would have been covered. Dont waste your time or energy with these people.
