The only thing that I did have an issue with is that I was never offered a toothbrush or assistance with a sponge bath but other than that I still stick to 5 stars because I received great care from the nurses and the LPN

1 /5 Bobby: MY Mom went to the ER for pneumonia and sepsis. She was admitted and spent 3.5 days in the hospital, she saw 2 doctors and they discharged her to the heritage house for rehab. The same day I had to take her to her cardiologist and she said Mom was no way well and should be in the hospital. I cant find anyone else whos been discharged this quick after being diagnosed for pneumonia and sepsis. I have had pneumonia myself more than once and even though I was younger and healthy I spent over a week in the hospital and had plenty of breathing treatments and oxygen. Mom didnt receive but a few treatments and she was told by one pulmonologist she could remove the oxygen when she wants to but then another pulmonologist said that the 1st one didnt know what he was doing lol. I dont understand how an 85 year old woman with COPD, high blood pressure, a pacemaker, diabetes and as many as 11 UTIs this year along with kidney stones, IBS and severe anxiety issues could possibly be discharged in a mere 3.5 days for rehab. This place is an absolute joke.

Im pretty sure that Christus Good Shepard Medical Hospital in Marshall Texas saved my life. Thank you

Elaina Middleton: The one thing that stood out most from my stay at the hospital was the care that the nurses gave me. There were three nurses that stood out the most that helped me, Melissa Angie, Sonia Matthew, well four those individuals went above and beyond to assist me even when I got stressed that I had to stay longer, especially Melissa she took the time and sit with me during my transfusion And even assisted me with my wound care what I did not like, however was that for five hours, I set on a stretcher in the hallway. I understand that this is a small hospital however, patients should not sit in a hallway, waiting to be seen on a stretcher. They already do not feel good and to be in a hallway where they can easily get hurt or Catch other illnesses is not right that needs to be fixed immediately. The staff were very helpful, but I did not appreciate being on a stretcher in a hallway. I felt like less than a person.

Seriously, then why are you even open to the public? Makes me wonder, do you guys not want to deal with brown skin ppl or are you just incompetent? Eddiemmmhhhmm: Went to the ER for groin and abdominal pain. Turns out I’m just fine! What a relief! The immense pain in my man parts, or the fact I can’t use my leg, is of no concern whatsoever . Matter fact! If I take my Tums, change my diet, (don’t lift anything) maybe if I wait another 3 years it’ll go away. This place couldn’t give a Schmidt about anything but eroding the integrity of western medicine. Maybe your kid will get a nice long touch from Dr Eduardo tho . Also waiting 3 hrs ? for 45 seconds of unclear instruction/ medical advice? Of which I clearly stated hasn’t worked in the past? What the actual funk did i just spend time, money and energy on.?? You’re better off going to urgent care or your local holistic cat lady.

Lexi Driskell: I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here if they were dying. Came in with pneumonia on my primary care doctor’s orders. Was immediately dismissed by the nurses and told they would not do anything because of my age, even fluids. Was given a chest x-ray for the lovely price $3000 and still never saw a doctor to explain said chest X-ray. Was handed discharge papers with a script and basically told to get out. Heard nurses giggling while I was waiting for an hour with zero contact from any of them. Ridiculous and zero patient care.

Meagan White: great place if you want them to lie about accepting your insurance, sending you thousands of dollars into debt. Also great if you want someone to misread your ultrasound when inserting an IUD and having them have to redo it after stabbing your cervix. Also great if you want them to ignore your request to not have a male in the room and then letting said male squeeze your thigh multiple times. Also i spent a year and a half bleeding and they kept telling me to take 8 advil a day because it was from my IUD. It was an STD that could potentially impact my fertility, and they never thought to run a test. Instead they told me i probably had a bladder tumor and recommended a specialist. dont recommend at all.

I’m so very thankful that his office is in San Marcos rather than having to travel to Austin, which I did for many years. As I am not great at doing everything I should such as breathing exercises, walking, etc., I really appreciate the gentle reminders and encouragement, as well as reinforcement. He has really helped with the treatment of my lungs!

Jim Cubberley: First time for me to be intubated and under anesthesia for an hour so I was a little nervous. Staff was exceptional! The Nurses were just lovely and the Anesthesiologist was confident and professional. I went in for surgery on time and came out on time. I dont know what could have made this better, honestly!

N. García: I have been a patient of Dr. Schneider for almost four years and while I have always adored him and his bedside manner, the staff left much to be desired. I visited yesterday for my annual physical and it was the best visit I have had. Most of the staff has been replaced and it shows. Ms. Edna, Dr. Schneider’s new nurse, was such a pleasure to interact with. Her bedside manner blew me away. Ms. Carol, the front desk associate, was very welcoming. I had never been greeted with smiles at the front desk, and yesterday we were giggling like children sharing secrets. Ms. Joni, the lab tech, was also very friendly and I didn’t even feel the pinch. I don’t expect my healthcare practitioners to be my best friends, but I do expect them to realize that as a patient, I am already in a vulnerable position and to make me comfortable during care. Mission accomplished as the energy in the office was abundantly light and friendly.
