1 /5 Ashley Nicole Diaz: I am a Registered Nurse that saw Dr. Katipally at the Robert B Green campus on 2/9/18 (Friday). I waited 4 hours to see him. I completely understand being understaffed and it being flu season, but techs/nurses/MDs were notably lax. Dr. Katipally told me that he was out of flu swabs, but presumed that’s what I had. I explained I had not had high grade fever and my illness was slow onset. He wrote for tamiflu (which is not helpful if you’ve had symptoms longer than 48 hrs, which he would have known if he’d asked what day I started feeling ill), an anti inflammatory, and Zyrtec (I do not nor have ever had allergies). Feeling worse today (Monday), I called the clinic asking to speak with him. The girl who answered said because it is an urgent care clinic, MDs do not take calls. Mind you, this would have been a two-minute phone call. This doctor is negligent to misdiagnose me. I have the same problem I had on Friday. This man did nothing but waste my time. I believe I have bronchitis as I’ve had in the past. Now I have to go thru the same miserable experience that I went through on Friday. This man shouldn’t even be practicing if he doesn’t care about his patients enough to sit down and take the time to diagnose them properly.
