From the moment I arrived, the entire team made me feel cared for and supported during what could have been a daunting time. The doctors were exceptional, explaining every detail of my procedure and ensuring I felt confident and well-informed. The nurses were compassionate, attentive, and always ready to address my needs during recovery, from pain management to offering words of encouragement. A special shoutout to the physical therapy team—they were instrumental in my recovery. Their expertise, patience, and personalized approach gave me the tools and confidence to regain mobility and strength after surgery. They truly went above and beyond to ensure I was progressing at a pace that worked for me. And let’s not forget the food! The meals at the hospital were excellent—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. It was such a pleasant surprise to have delicious and nutritious food during my stay, which made the entire experience even better. Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital truly stands out for its combination of medical expertise, compassionate care, and attention to the little details that make a big difference. I am incredibly grateful for the role they played in my recovery and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of surgical care.

This was my first surgery and I was extremely nervous, but everyone I encountered here was fantastic. I am so thankful.

5 /5 Cindy Johnson: Dr. Jesse Even, M.D., Ambrosia Willoughby, the nurses and anesthesiologist were all exceptional! Dr. Even has performed three different surgeries on me. I had surgery on my neck and two surgeries on my back, and they were all very successful. I have suffered for many years in pain and I was becoming limited on what I could physically do on a daily basis. Dr. Even has given me my life back. He is the “BEST”!!!
