06-2025 Austin Texas Mural in Hight rate 21 location for tourist in Austin, TX (part 3)Austin Bat Tours - Austin Kim Santos: Our daughter in law took us while we in town visiting. We were not prepared for how AWESOME this tour was. Just an incredible thing to see. The guides were fun and the boats were clean. We highly recommend!
Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bat Bridge - Austin Luis Francisco González: While bridge itself is mostly unremarkable in terms of design, it offers some of the most scenic views in the city.
One of the primary motivations for visits is the nightly emergence of the thousands of bats that call the bridge and the area around it, home. Worth noting that our visit was in early November, and despite the crowds both on the bridge and in the water, there were no bats to be seen that night. Apparently The later sunsets in the summer time are a much better time to watch this spectacle.
Lou Neff Point - Austin Jim Jones: If you’re coming to Austin don’t miss the opportunity to capture one of the best views of the city. During my visit, I soak in the harmony of life, birds singing, distant music, and cheers from a game blending into a symphony of shared moments. It’s a beautiful reminder that the world, in all its sounds and energy, is alive and connected.
K1 Speed - Indoor Go Karts, Food, Games, and Things to Do In Austin - Austin Alex Pappas: While down in Austin, i thought Id give K1 Speed - Indoor Go Karts a try as I heard some raves about it from a couple of buddies of mine down there. The hype was indeed quite real, especially with the bundle deal of two races (24 laps as one race is equal to 12 laps). It was a blast racing with my party. The area is quite spacious and has a ton of activities for any one of all ages.
Texas Capitol Visitors Center - Austin Sorna Chocks: We went on a Sunday, the free tours start from 12:30PM it was informative. The building has so much history, it is well maintained and cleaned, we loved it. Got a chance to see the courtroom, library and assembly! Perfect photoshoot location!
The parking garage is very close to the building, it was free on Sunday.
Mueller Lake Park - Austin Mai Pham: This park is my favorite place to hang out with friends and walk my dog. There’s a beautiful picnic area where we enjoy nice walks, especially when the sun comes out. It also has a great playground for children.
This park is my go-to spot when I need a peaceful walk or a break. There’s plenty of free parking next to the park, including a parking garage. It’s also surrounded by lots of restaurants where you can grab a quick bite or drink. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to relax, take a walk, or spend time with friends.
I had the chance to go to the Water Lantern Festival in Austin here at Mueller Lake Park , and it was absolutely beautiful. Everyone wrote messages, hopes, or memories on lanterns and released them onto the water. When the sun went down and all the lanterns started floating and glowing, it felt magical ,peaceful, emotional, and full of meaning.
It was such a special experience to share with others. Seeing all those lights on the water felt like a reminder of connection, love, and letting go. If you ever get the chance to go, I highly recommend it.
Barton Creek Greenbelt - Austin kerime Harper: It was a great hike. We hiked about 5 miles and there were easy parts and a little hard parts if you are considering going with your toddler.
Tau Ceti - Austin With Love, Angelique: Epic photo op with this beautiful mural!
I had the opportunity to be a part of a group dance that was filmed here. The mural provided a beautiful backdrop!
