A Schlosberg: Unfortunately many of the activities and exhibits were missing crucial parts ... No metal nuts for the magnetic "nut bridge"... No balls for the "which way will the ball roll" exhibit etc.. The highlight was supposed to Be the Tesla Coil demonstrations... But during our visit they had a "make your own fairy garden" activity in lieu of the Tesla demo.. So the visit was fairly disappointing... I would rate it lower but from a kids perspective it was fun anyway and the sound wall was pretty cool
mary pemberton: Brindle Lake Park is a wonderful place to enjoy with family. Nature trails to explore . There are grills and water for your needs. Its also dog friendly, animals are to be on a leash. Come out and enjoy everything it has to offer.
Elena K: We stopped in Texarkana for a quick break during a road trip. Took couple of pictures with wall murals and walked around, not much to see, but good stretch a little from a long drive. There was a free parking right in front of it.
Virginia Brown: Disappointed. The website said said the beginning of Texas, there was very little. It also said war history, there was a gas mask, torpedo and one thing of war history. I had my pregnant daughter in law with me spent more time waiting for her to go to the restroom.
Crockett Thompson: This place was so cool! If your looking to get up close and personal to some giant reptiles then look no further. We went on a class field trip and had a blast. Dont forget water, snacks, and sunscreen! Also, the bathroom is not good, so go before you come.
Jason Brown: A good quick stop to learn some Texas history. Wife and I only spent about 15 minutes there and didnt check out the visitor center. It was a good time though. The grounds were peaceful and the statue is pretty good sized! There was a cute bird nesting I the gravel very close to where people drive/walk...hopefully her chicks survive! There were 3-4 little eggs until her tail and she fluffed up a bit when I absentmindedly wandered to close. Anyway, fun monument to visit!
