Crocodile Encounter - Angleton (TX)

4 /5 Crockett Thompson: This place was so cool! If your looking to get up close and personal to some giant reptiles then look no further. We went on a class field trip and had a blast. Dont forget water, snacks, and sunscreen! Also, the bathroom is not good, so go before you come.

4 /5 Courtney Laarhuis: Went here with my sister and aunt and we weren’t sure exactly what to expect but we ended up having a great time! We were there on a weekday so it wasn’t busy at all which was nice. Coming from somewhere that has no gators it’s always exciting to see them. You can tell they are well cared for and see to be happy. We caught one of the handlers learning how to feed them and they let us tag along to watch which was really cool. Afterwards we talked with her for a while and learned a lot about them. All the staff were friendly and willing to stop what they were doing to talk to you. The turtles were cool too. I especially loved the one smaller turtle who came “running” when we entered the pen. Some of the boardwalks were a little rickety but that comes with running a business set in a swamp. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’ve never seen gators before!

5 /5 Stephanie Francis: We booked a tour ahead of time online. The price is worth it for the guided tour to see them being fed! I learned so much and never knew they moved so fast! My kids enjoyed holding George! Thanks Cade for teaching us so many things in 60 mins! Go see them! It is a fun adventure.

5 /5 pog expat: The entrance as you can see can be deceiving. I arrived before lunch and there were very few people. For a minute i was worries i would be disappointed. I was wrong! This place is amazing. Its very raw and right at your face. I did a self tour and saw many guided tours by lunch time. I did listen in and would highly recommend. Guides are young, energetic and they feed the animals. Spent 2.5 hours walking area the sanctuary. The deer area was interesting as there are a good mixed of species cohabiting the area. Very seldom see this unless you are in the wild. Highly recommend for a weekend family outing!

5 /5 Lissette Nava-Acosta: I enjoyed the wildlife atmosphere and seeing all these different gators! We pet the snake and tortoise. I was a little scared to hold the baby alligator, but it wasnt bad after all. The weather was great. We did the guided tour.
