He rescued me after I had been working on my truck problem after a 20 day 40 hr time frame, Tom was happy to help. I dropped if off at 830am He calls at 1130am and said he found the problem and it was fixed and ready to go. he charged me for labor only. $150+ tax. Boni explained that while I did have a few repairs needed, nothing was urgent and I could push is down the road a bit because the repairs were a bit costly (as expected). John Moore: Fantastic first experience with my first attempt at finding a local, Atypical, non-corporate, “true” mechanic, versus the posh, overpriced money-machine business model most of us have fallen victim to. I called ahead to find out if I needed an appointment to replace an ignition coil. None needed. I was greeted promptly as I drove up, and guided right towards a bay where they started their diagnosis immediately, and was offered a drink. After confirming a bank five ignition coil was needed, they checked their stock quickly and promptly ordered the coil which arrived in about 15 to 20 minutes, during which I got to know James. Great guy! James changed it himself, test drove it and I was on my way in under an hour, after only a light tap on my wallet. I wasn’t even there long enough to test how good their coffee was, or check out their lounge or Wi-Fi, or even use the bathroom. Don’t come for any of that, because James and his crew seem to be exactly what you hope for out of a country mechanic when you’re trying to keep your old cars running without being upsold on all of the things you don’t need. That’s the kind of customer service I look for! More later, after I put them to the test when I need something more serious.

There was a miscommunication between replacing break pads and a break job. Jason informed me of the work performed on my vehicle and issued me a refund due to the misunderstanding. The caliber of professionalism/customer service he demonstrated is certainly commendable and very much appreciated. He also gave us a veteran discount which was very kind of him.
