5 /5 jeremyah Taylor: Hi,I’m jeremyah I’ve recently just had the gastric sleeve surgery In june. I am currently 2 weeks post op and feel great. I started my journey back in June of 2023 I was with the program for about 3 months till my parents decided not to go back for some reason it wasn’t until march of 2024 that I decided to go back being 399.79 lbs. I then realized I needed to go back and get that surgery if I wanted a better life in the future. So month by month I started to drop weight rapidly 25lbs the first month 20lbs the second. Then by the day of surgery I was 339lbs I felt like I was starting to get my life back on track. I am currently 322lbs since march and I am extremely proud of myself and how far I’ve come.I couldn’t have done this without my amazing nurses Regina, my nutritionist Hope, and most importantly Dr.O’connor. She is the reason this is all happening and I can’t thank her enough with the drive she gave me and the determination she always has a demeanor of when you walk into a room she will have a smile no matter what and she makes you feel comfortable like you’ve never been before. So I recommend after my story that’s not over yet. I tell anyone that is thinking about having this surgery to do it. Don’t be afraid or scared you have the most amazing and caring team by your side.
