4thMG Let me just say this place is an answered prayer, and MOE is like a guardian Angel. He truly loves cars and helping people, and it reflects in every way at Texas Kar Auto. He and Herman have been so kind and generous and accommodating it’s been such a blessing. Everyone does such a good job, the waiting room is clean and comfortable, there is good communication, and the cost and pricing for the work is unbeatable. Plus, they know both luxury cars including Mercedes and Jaguar, and non luxury. I recommend this place like I recommended heaven. Thank you so much.

Mike Mills We had a tire blowout on our trailer in the middle of nowhere, and with a Tesla towing it—no jack and no easy fix. Roadside assistance told us they couldn’t help. Enter McCurdy Tire Shop. They didn’t just answer the call—they came to us, changed the flat on the spot, and replaced all three trailer tires (including the spare) at a great price. What could’ve been a complete disaster—stranded on the highway with three kids and a loaded trailer—turned into just a short detour thanks to their fast, friendly, and professional service. If you’re anywhere near Centerville and run into tire trouble, this is the shop to call. Honest people who genuinely care. Can’t thank them enough!

Caleb Goodman Driving down to Galveston with my family and steering started to feel wobbly . Turns out I had 2 bad front tires. This place had my tires in stock and staff were very friendly and courteous and helpful. My family and I were able to get back on the road quickly. Highly recommend this place. Not for just the tires but for their great service.

Kayle Vancampen 10/10 best experience I’ve ever had with a auto shop. They helped turn a bad day into a good one after I broke down on the highway 2 hours from home just me and my little dog. By the time the tow truck arrived it was a hour before they closed. They went out of their way to figure out my water pump was broke, get the part, and fix it which included them having to stay later after close. Making sure I didn’t have to be stranded alone and could make it back to Dallas tonight. I wish they were closer I would use them all the time. If you need an Auto shop I HIGHLY recommend them! Thanks again for the amazing service!

Dee Craft Our diesel JD farm tractor had been inoperable for just over a year. We were told it would be an expensive repair. Took it to Jonathan and he had it fixed within a day. Turns out it was a minor issue. He replaced a starter part and now our tractor fires right up and purrs like a kitten. Thank you Jonathan!

Tiffany Bowden Great experience. The tow truck dropped our vehicle off at the guys business at 2:30 AM. We had been stranded in the middle of Crockett and Centerville for multiple hours in the dark. It was a very stressful event and we were thankful that the guys were honest in checking our car the next morning… and not only that, but sending us off on our way in about 30 minutes! They were kind, knowledgeable and honest. If they were closer, they would totally be our mechanics for life!

J Hood He was a lifesaver! My son was stranded on 45 on a Sunday afternoon after his wheel completely came off while driving. They drove out to find him and assessed the damage and then went and got the parts and came back and fixed it on the shoulder and save d us a ton in towing charges. I am so grateful they were willing to come out and check it out right away on a Sunday and for an extremely reasonable price. Definitely recommend!!

Ryon One of the most honest mechanics shops Ive ever been to. My wife and I broke down on the side of the rode (chewed serpentine belt). I called this shop and a gentleman named Charles answered the phone, I asked him if they had a belt for my truck. He did not. He asked me where I was and told me to wait there. Charles went to Napa, grabbed a new belt and tensioner pulley bc I mentioned that might be my culprit. Hour later my wife and I were on the road again. Thank you Charles! A+ service, you really went above and beyond.

Krypton X Got a used tire for boat trailer, didnt bath it to check for leak, lasted 2000ft before blowing, then the 2nd one was checked and good. They were respectful and didnt charge for 2nd tire. Id trust them again. Open 7days a week.
